I was winding down my night out with family and we had a major taco craving! We wanted to try something new (to us) that would also be open semi late and was not a full blown dine in. We yelped this and made our way over...this is in the neighborhood which means parking is not the easiest so it may possibly be a double parking blinker situation. It's a little tent with a grill and everything is made to order. There was a nice clip of walk ups and he cooks until no more folks roll up...so although Yelp says 11pm...if there are people ...they will be fed! Since it's in the neighborhood definitely want to be cognizant of not being rowdy. I had 2 carne asada steak tacos and a steak quesadilla! Flavors were on point! I ate a taco out of the trunk of my hatchback and had a quarter of the quesadilla...and was stuffed! Took the rest home and had a whole other meal! Fairly quick, tasty, no frills street tacos! Level of sketchy was mild but as in anywhere..when out later, you'll want to be aware of your surroundings.

Hole in the wall taco joint with great price and good food for takeout The spot is stand on a sidewalk in Pilsen, so you'll find parking pretty quick. The seats available is a bucket from home depot so don't plan on sitting down. It's a one man operation so if there's a line it's gonna be a while but it's worth the wait. The food is made to order and it's abundant for the price you pay. I've gotten burritos and tacos from him and they're both solid. It's cash only so stop by the ATM before you come by

MOST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN TACOS IN CHICAGO 🔥 Meet Adan. He runs this booth by himself outside 4 days a week in all weather conditions. He makes the best, most fresh tacos I’ve had in the city. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and there was no one — but Adan tells me it gets pretty busy in the evening. I got 2 chicken tacos for $7 total. The portions were so generous and I was so full after only 2! If you want delicious, authentic Mexican food, you’ve found your spot :D

It's just ok, Tacos were ok. Some of the meat was a lot more chewy than I would have liked. But be warned, this is not a restaurant with any seating. It's just an outdoor tent with a grill. You basically get your tacos to go or try to eat them standing up or squatting on a neighbors doorstep or curb, which is quite messy. It's like here's your tacos, now get lost. Hours open are irregular. I think mostly just open over weekends, and you have to go to their Facebook page to check times as no set hours. There are much better options in the Pilsen and little village area to go for tacos where you can sit at a nice indoor table and relax and eat tacos. I don't understand the popularity of this place, I think it is...

Moved to Chicago pretty recently, and oh boy. This beats out most the food I had from Portland The meat was freshly marinated and cooked right in front of us on the grill. We chose tacos for our wrap of choice. Fillings were generous, as we came for dinner and are feeling great off 2 each.

Chicken - can't recommend it enough Al Pastor - can't recommend it enough

There are 3 sauces available when we areived, hot green, avocado whip, bitter chipotle, and an additional hot pickled pepper salsa topping.

1/2 a fresh lime (none of that stale stuff) was given for option to squeeze (I used mine to chase the tacos because we forgot drinks, we ate in the car across the street).

10/10, This is the real...
