I am LIVID, I usually enjoy this company, and order the same thing every time, however after last night's nonsense I will not be ordering from them again! I has company over and while my usual order is a personal size (8inch) cheese bread and a personal size (8inch) spinach special we placed a larger Forder for a 14 inch doubke cheese bread, a 10 inch spinach special and a 10inch Hawaiin. At first I was impressed because they beat their own delivery time and it was nice to have my pizza early because it was late and I was hungry! When I got the pizza inside the one labeled "Spinach special" was a very different pizza. Now again this is my order Everytime I order from here and I know this pizza, just looking at what was delivered I could tell this was not my pizza. But mistakes happen and at this point I was not yet upset. I called in to see what could be done, and at first the person tried to rush me off the phone offering me $5 off my next order, I told them that wasn't ok, and felt like this was a slap in the face for the $15.99 I spent on getting a pizza I didn't want. He said he would send a new one of my order. At first I thought this order was never going to come, and actually went to bed thinking I was going to have to contact the store in the morning. Finally after an hour and a half I got a call from a delivery driver and went out in my pajamas to get the pizza. I was alittle grossed out at first because the whole edge of the box and half of the bottom was DRIPPING wet but I carefully carried it in to see what was happening, at this point not wanting to take my frustrations out on the poor delivery person. When I got the pizza inside and opened it it was so saturated in what I am assuming is oil that you could not pick up any of the prices without them falling apart, we are talking not just falling toppings but disinegrating crust! I wanted to vomit. I was so upset that I decided to not call then Because I was too mad to talk with anyone and I didn't want to be mean. I just got off the phone with this restaurant now after being out on hold in the middle of telling my story (for the second time because after explaining what was wrong the first time was told the lady in the line didn't understand why I was calling) when the lady did come back so told me to call after 730 pm because she didn't want to help me and someone else would be there to deal with it. Read moreSo we order sarpinos pretty regularly. We like the price for tasty quick food. About 1/4 of the time the food shows up not all together warm,not cold but not warm. On a Friday or Saturday that's too be expected,although even on the weekend delivery normally takes at the longest an hour,during the week about a half hour(only about 1 3/4 miles from the place) anyway tonight NO BUENO! After almost hour and a half we called to find out what the deal was. They said they were running behind,about 2min later delivery guy was here. This delivery guy told us he had no change. A delivery guy with NO CHANGE?! We said ok then we can't pay for this pizza OR a tip if you have no change. We needed a $20 broke not $100! And magically he all of the sudden had change after being asked 3 times are you sure. I can see saying you don't have change if the change was 2 or 3 bucks hell even $5, but not when the tip would be the just about the same amount as the total bill! On top of this irritation our pizza was ice cold! Not the slightest bit warm! Like left over pizza cold. Its a bummer. The food has also been wildly inconsistent over the last 6 months. I can order the exact same sandwich 3 times in a row and get it different everytime. Wasn't like this before. For the first year of this location being open it was great and now is rapidly declining. Oh and A delivery guy ,dealing with customers, should at least have some command over the English language if not a command at least enough to communicate how much! (The guy tonight communicated just fine but,we've had this issue in the past) UPDATE......sooooo had absolute rock hard chicken. Due to cold pizza we stopped ordering it at this location (wicker park/ bucktown on damen) the feral starving cats in the ally wouldn't even eat that stuff! I tried to feed it to them. Thinking over cooked chicken had to be a treat from dry cat food i give when i see em. We complained, they said our next order would be 50%off.we got blts the next time, they deliver as late as 4am is the only reason we kept calling. According to them 50% off of a$20 order is $3!! Placed an order through grab hub . We forgot to get dressing. My husband called - asked to add ranch and Buffalo sauce. What he said exactly: “ we forgot to order dressings . I would like to pay for them separately, just throw them in my delivery bag” and after lady on the phone yelled at him and hanged up . Well, I called the restaurant, asked to speak with a manager.. After that she lowed her voice. She said she is the manager. I said , I’m gonna pay for the dressings.. 5 ranch and 2 Buffalo sauce . I said: don’t give me your attitude! Take curd number , charge and put those dressings in my bag and let it be delivered with the rest of my order ! She did change .. 1$ per each. So 7.55 total Which originally supposed to be 0.75 $ because we come there a lot .. and we know there prices lol Im not complaining about 7$ for the dressing , I’m literally very thankful for it and highly appreciate! But next time , please, low your voice and listen first. We are your customers , if you will keep giving an attitude to each person - you will simply loose the business ....
