Subway — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I have visited this Subway a couple of times in the past, but did not review it because I was not sure if I would become a regular. I rarely stop in because of there being a Pete's Fresh Market in the complex, which normally is what I settle for versus a Subway visit. Nothing wrong with this restaurant, it is just that I always feel that I can pick up other needed grocery items while at the Pete's Fresh Market versus just a Sub-of-the-day at Subway.

Thus far within the handful of times I have visited I have no complaints! I can only speak for myself, but with the presence of this Subway in the neighborhood it gives me a healthier choice compared to other selections near East Garfield Park, which are mostly unhealthy choices. Subway is also the cheaper option, so why choose a unhealthy restaurant when you can eat fresh and healthy while staying on a budget at Subway.

With the addition of other businesses in the complex, the parking lot tends to be chaotic in the afternoon hours when many are getting off of work. Other than that, there is nothing else about this location that stands out. I hope that this review assists you in any way...

So today I stopped by the subway because I was so famished. A few observation about this restaurant is that the veggies were fresh. I also realize the restaurant is officially closed at 9 pm but at 6.00 pm the dining area in the restaurant was closed early. That was interesting. Additionally, the server did not wash his hands but went right to the food. After kindly requesting that his hands be washed he started to prepare my basil tuna wrap. Don’t come here late, the worker is very careless & pays more attention to the people in his headphones than the person whose order he’s taking. I also thought he missed an ingredient & he dug his fingers in my sandwich to show me it was there, while I was making sure myself… Didn’t need his hands in my food!!
