Chicago Department of Buildings — Local services in West Chicago Township

I completely rehabbed my building in the Albany Park area and I wanted to go to court before year's end to dismiss the complaints so I can rent the property. I only had 2 weeks to go. I need Final Inspection from 4 departments: New Construction, Electrical, Plumbing and finally Ventilation. I personally spoke with the Supervisors of each department. I was touched. They all went out of their way to accommodate. I cannot complain. Just approach them kindly and don't have an attitude. THEY ARE HUMAN...

No inspector ever showed up at neighbors despite our repeated complaints, as well as others complaints. Neighbor had no permit yet completely rehabbed building and added a deck. They never rented a dumpster-of course- so loaded our trash with debris etc. To make it worse, others in area were given bs violations for "not posting owner" on building etc. I'm sure they're paid off, typical city crooks who were handed...
