Located in Chicago, this facility offers 2 year programs in a variety of fields. Renamed for Malcom X, one of the most well known & great civil rights advocate, fosters programs that can lead to long term careers & help individuals establish themselves in society. This area is super busy & placement of this college in the area is perfect. On my visit they were actually closed, I understand the college is very busy under normal circumstances.

I attended a conference at this college with several friends. The college itself is immaculate and well designed. It was clean and the staff were pleasant as well as professional. The event itself was well organized and informative. The president of the college spoke at the conference and I found him to be inspirational and very articulate! The city of Chicago is blessed to have this college!

I came here for a 3-day seminar put on by the City of Chicago. The facility was clean, well lit, easy to navigate and I'd definitely come back!

Malcolm X College Was the Worst Experience of My LIFE!!! Totally. They Tried REALLY Hard to Cover up the FACT THAT A BLACK CITY OF CHICAGO POLICEMAN THAT WORKED THERE NAMED TYRONE DAVIS SEXUALLY ASSAULTED ME. HE WALKED RIGHT IN THE SECOND FLOOR ROOM BY THE CAFATERIA AND TOUCHED MY BREAST. I TOLD HIS SUPERVISOR AT THE TIME AND WROTE HIM UP TO THE MXC PRESIDENT AT THE TIME; WHICH WAS SEVERAL YEARS AGO. I WAS VERY TRAUMATIZED AND DROPPED THE CLASSES I LATER FOUND OUT I WOULD'VE GRADUATED THE SEMESTER TYRONE DAVIS DECIDED TO TOUCH MY BREAST N SEXUAL ASSAULT. I SHOWED UP RECENTLY WITHIN THE WEEK TO GET MY GRADES AND FINALLY FINISH WHAT I STARTED AND LOW AND BEHOLD THEY PUT UP SEVERAL BLOCKS SO THAT I WOULDN'T BE SUCCESSFUL. I WILL GRADUATE W OR WOUT MAKING THOSE LAST 3 CLASSES 1ST MXC. THE UNPROFESSIONALSM TILL THIS DAY DOES NOT SURPRISE ME IN ALL AREAS OF MXC NOT JUST THE FNCL AID DEPARTMENT. IF I DIDN'T KNOW ANY BETTER I WOULD SAY A LOT OF THEM WENT HOME AND DID DRUGS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. I STILL HAVE TO GET PROFESSIONAL COUNSELLING ABOUT THE SEXUAL ASSAULT SITUATION. U CAN'T BE A AWESOME COUNCELER URSELF W OUT FIRST GOING THRU IT URSELF THEN OVER COMING THE SITUATION. BY BEING HONEST WITH GOD MYSELF THEN OTHERS. THIS SCHOOL SUCKS TO THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST OF STANDARDS , BECAUSE THEY HAVE NONE. I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO CALL THE POLICE ON THE HEAD SECURITY GAURD. I STOOD AND WAITED ON THE POLICE ; WHICH showed up 1 Hour 1/2 Later. WHAT A NIGHT MARE. THEN THEY STILL HAVEN'T CORRECTLY INVESTIGATED TYRONE DAVIS (SEXUAL ASSAULT). DON'T LET Any of this HAPPEN TO YOU. IF U WANT KNOW THE TRUTH THERE IS GOOD AND BAD PEOPLE EVERYWHERE YOU GO. BUT TO BE HONEST MXC JUST HAS THE VERY LOWEST STANDARDS FOR PROFESSIONALISM AND CHARACTER. TYRONE DAVIS INVESTIGATION TO BE CONTINUED. MY FAMILY AT THE TIME WANTED A LAW SUIT. BOY THIS IS REALLY 1 OF THOSE TIMES IN MY LIFE I SHOULD'VE LISTENED. IF I'VE LEARNED ANYTHING FROM THIS SITUATION IT'S MADE ME STRONGER. I AM READY TO GRADUATE BUT DEFUNATELY NOT FROM...

The new campus building is very nice, it feels like you are truly in college, with the same quality of a University. As a student who comes from minority background, lower middle socioeconomic status, who had transferred from two universities due to increase in tuition, I totally wished I had gone here straight from high school. Anywhere you are in life, you can find support when you need it if you look in the right places. It can be a challenge to understand what resources are available to you and where you can find them. Most of the staff tries their best to deliver to the students, but without much student involvement how can the needs of the students be met? There is incredible opportunity to create an amazing resume before transferring out to a university in which you can stand out from most of the university students. Everyone complains about the administration, but without many students to voice out their opinions for their needs to be met, it is difficult to get rid of rude staff. Ever heard of SGA(student Government Association)? They are in charge of having meetings with the dean, president of the college, to let them know how administration is doing in the perspective of the students. How about PTK (phi theta Kappa) or honors? if you are in honors classes and/or PTK you may go into the honors room and use their additional resources of computers (useful, when library computers get full) you find out what is going on around the college via SGA or PTK, plus they let you in on scholarship you never knew existed. Currently I as a student and others are trying to create a collab with RUSH university to help in making the school better for student success!! Hopefully opening up another pathway or easier route for students to go on to RUSH, just like previously...

I am a current student. ONLY BECAUSE I HAVE TO BE. I am a new student this semester and new to college over all. Mario Diaz was the only helpful person I have come in contact with. I work a F/T job that enables me to come in to wait hours to speak to any advisor who just give you the wrong information. I couldn't even get my school ID when I went in because the person who was there said "I don't know how to work the machine you can wait a couple hours till the woman who does it comes in." - seriously. I have emailed my advisor to help me figure out the best route to go for my degree interest and no response to voice mails and emails. She never even contacted me when the semester began like I was told. They offer no help to those that actually want to work hard and try to be efficient as possible. It is ridiculous. I only recommend this place if you really don't care where you end up.

** ALSO ANY STAFF MEMBER YOU SPEAK TO IS RUDE, DISMISSIVE, TREAT YOU LIKE GARBAGE IF YOU ASK THE MOST SIMPLE QUESTION - LIKE WHERE IS THE RESTROOM. THE ONLY PERSON THAT WAS EVER "NICE" WAS ONE OF THE SECURITY GUARDS. (OH AND THAT WAS AFTER HE WAS RUDE AND I INFORMED HIM I WAS A NEW STUDENT) THIS...
