When I first met with Daniel from Ashland Addison Florist, he conveyed his vision to me on creating a very colorful ensemble of flowers and décor for my wedding. Rather than have black and white and or muted tones, I requested vibrant colors of reds, oranges, and yellows to make the day feel happy. Using my favorite flower—gerbera daisies—as the base, Daniel created floral designs for three rooms within the event space including a floral structure or chuppah to stand under for the ceremony, different focal points around the DJ, bars, and mirrors, as well as a long runner of flowers that spanned the entire length of our food stations. In addition, Daniel added a turquoise blue runner for the isle, found blue lounge furniture and gold-colored bookshelves to accent the space with candles, and strategically placed lights in various positions to add more warm color tones. However, what I will remember most is the beautiful bouquet of flowers he designed for me—a combination of orange, peach, red, pink, and yellow flowers that made me feel beautiful and magical on my wedding day.

During our walk through of the venue seven days before the wedding, my husband and I decided we wanted to add a bit more to the space. I immediately called Daniel, threw him this last-minute curveball, and asked if this was possible. Rather than shy away from challenge, Daniel tackled it head on and exceeded our expectations in every way.

Family and friends who attended the wedding came up to us and said, “I love flowers and yours were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.” In addition, the lead representative from the venue and caterer said, “I have never seen this space look so beautiful!” I could not agree more and that is a sole testament to the work of Daniel and crew from Ashland...

I was referred by a friend who resides in the downtown Chicago area. I reached out on a Tuesday upon arrival to our hotel to place an order for a Friday delivery. I called 1st thing in the am and was greeted by Zoe! She was so patient, friendly, knowledgeable & professional as I selected my floral arrangement. She accommodated me as I needed to create 2 additional smaller arrangements to coordinate with my larger original one. This florist is definitely a top notch business! I received a text the day before with a photo of what my purchase looked like. This allowed me to update & add any final touches that I felt would enchance my gift! I was so pleased with that service. I called the number in the text, made my upgrades & felt extremely confident that my friend would love his gift! On Friday, the day of the delivery I received a text that the driver was in route. Along, with a phone call as to the exact location of where & who my delivery was left with. Ashland Addison Florist Co. & Zoe really went above and beyond. And I was so happy with the entire process. They made it so seamless & stress-free. I will definitely use them again & again for my floral needs while visiting in Chicago....

Living in another state that where this florist is located I was taking a stab in the dark when I ordered flowers from Ashland Addison Florists in Chicago to send to a relative in rehab. (I'm leary of such orders because I have had some out of town florists rip me off in the past, believing I would never see what they sent for the $ spent and then getting disappointing arrangements sent that did not equal the funds expended.) But not only did Ashland Addison personnel respond immediately and communicate well with me (even adding an extra name to our card after the fact), but they also sent me a photo of the bouquet they made, which no other florist has ever done for me. While the bouquet made didn't exactly mirror the image selected, it was equal to the one selected and very beautiful and met my expectations precisely. The recipient of the bouquet also sent a photo verifying what they received and that matched exactly the photo sent from Ashland. This added great satisfaction to the purchase & selection made. Bottom line: Don't hesitate to trust this florist. You'll get excellent service, communication and verification (rarity) for what you order. Lots of bang...
