Read moreI've been going to Uncle Remus every since I was a kid and that has been over 20 years ago. Oops I'm disclosing my age. Lol! I believe this location shut down years ago because of issues and violations. However, now it is back to the way I remember it. The chicken is crispy, golden brown and cooked fresh. That is the key to most restaurants is if the food is cooked fresh. The wings are big, but meaty so a 4 piece wing meal would be enough for most people. Unless your greedy like me at times. Lol! I like their fries and you can't forget about their sweet and thick mild sauce. The sauce is the main reason why you come for their chicken. You will either like it or not. So if you are going at night have someone with you, but they usually don't bother anyone. Overall, great chicken as most West siders will tell you. Now, if only they can bring back those big and juicy steak sandwiches they used to have back in the day. I would be...
