This food is fire.. It has a casual, fast‑food / food‑stall vibe: quick service, simple setup, no frills. The kind of spot you go for satisfying, flavorful bowls rather than ambiance. The teriyaki chicken, OG teriyaki chicken (grilled) are hella good, tender, nicely glazed, satisfying texture. For a couple extra bucks, swapping standard rice for garlic rice is a recommended move. Adds flavor, aroma, character. The variety of sauces is a highlight. Folks mention things like “garlic aioli,” “Asian chimichurri,” and “Bellyaki glaze.” The sauces seem to be a big part of what elevates the dish, offering contrasts to the protein and rice. Sides & Accents — Cucumber and macaroni salad (when included) are appreciated for adding textural contrast and a bit of brightness. Portion Size & Value — Many reviews mention that the portions are generous and the value is good, especially compared to some fast‑casual places. If you’re hungry, this spot tends to satisfy.

Hands down delicious sauces paired with chicken and beef belly. My wife and I had the Beef Belly and "Seattle Style" skin-on chicken plates and they did not disappoint. The sauces they offer elevated both dishes. We tried the Asian Chimichurri, Garlic Aioli, Bellyaki Glaze and Verde Sauce. They sauces alone are definitely worth coming for. Aside from the food, the owner, Johnny (hopefully I'm spelling it correctly) was very hospitable and shared with us his journey for opening this gem. Definitely will be spreading the word and coming back!

I never thought a chicken bowl could pack so much flavor. The tender chicken, paired with their homemade teriyaki sauce over perfectly cooked garlic rice, was hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted. Then there were the sauces—each one added a unique, vibrant twist that elevated the dish to another level. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner (Johnny, I believe). Super cool dude and never met someone so passionate about their recipes. This place is a gem!

What we got: OG style: juicy and succulent chicken thigh Seattle style: juicy chicken with a layer of crispy chicken skin Each plate is served on a bed of rice (would recommend the perfectly seasoned garlic rice) with refreshing cucumber salad, Asian inspired citrus-y dressed coleslaw, and perfect macaroni salad (without an excess amount of mayonnaise)

Why this place stands out: THE SAUCES!! Every single sauce is uniquely curated for a specific flavor palate with its own creative fusion twist. All of the sauces are amazing, but my favorite is the Asian chimichurri. A very close second is the teriyaki sauce because it’s not overly sweet but more savory and umami taste. The story behind the owner’s journey originating from Seattle!

Service: The food does take a while (~20 min) but SO worth the wait because it is made to order. Owner is approachable, friendly, and passionate...

I had a quick trip in Cali and i mean how can you go wrong with chicken teriyaki....BUT actual real authentic Seattle Terriyaki?? I mean come on this was a no brainer! I know Johnny from HypeTalk and other forms of content. Great guy, but this food was really something serious!! Now I've had my fare share of fake unauthentic chicken teriyaki but boy was this FIRE! I love the combination with the macaroni salad! Delicious flavors and the sauces are fire, mix the habanero and the terriyaki! Will absolutely be back anytime I'm in the area. ABSOLUTELY CHECK THIS SPOT OUT AND HAVE YA TASTEBUDS GO ON A SNEAKY LINK TO...
