Starbucks — Restaurant in West Covina

So the service at this particular Starbucks has some issues. First off, the employees appear less than enthusiastic to be there. This is evidenced by the fact that they seem less than friendly and do not follow simple instructions (i.e., no sweetener, no water, room temp, etc.). Nothing worse than a disengaged employee in a "customer service" position. I can honestly say without exaggerating that my drinks are almost always wrong. They have issues with food orders as well. Today (7/13/17) was no exception. Ordered a Venti Black Tea with no sweetener and a double smoked bacon sandwich which I requested to be double toasted. I got my order and I began my commute to work. Got about a block away when I realized my drink was sweetened. The printed label said no sweetener AND no water. I never asked for concentrated black tea. I had to turn around and take it back otherwise I would've spent money on something I can't drink. The sandwich I ordered was still cold in the middle. Typical for this location - which is the reason why I asked for it to be double toasted. Either re-train your employees, fix the oven, the speakers or the headset ....WHATEVER! Something's gotta give. The level of service at this location is unacceptable. I shouldn't have to return so they can do it right the second time, nor should I have to suck it up...

The staff is very slow to react to your orders in the morning. I order through my Starbucks app and I give it about 10 min before I pick up my items. Remind you this is around 5am even on a weekend so there’s really no one there in the morning yet. Ok so even after 10 min, my drinks aren’t even ready. Or my drinks will be ready but they forget my food. One time they got my food ready but not my drink. I had two drinks that I ordered and she only prepared one. And I’m just standing there and she’s like “What else do you need?” Uhhh my other drink? I’m a very patient person but I’ve had enough. I only go here because it’s the closest one to my place before I go to work. Aaaand! I ordered an oatmeal and it usually has brown sugar, dried fruits and nuts. But the lady only gave me two packets of brown sugar! Cmon Starbucks employees! Awful service sometimes. But tbh, I will...

Located on the corner of S. Vincent Ave and West Covina Pkwy in a small shopping center with drive-thru and limited parking, very close to the West Covina mall.

I stopped by this afternoon at about 2:45 PM and the drive-thru barista was amazing! (I believe she said her name was Iris at the speaker). She was very welcoming and happy to take my order. I asked for an 'Iced White Chocolate Mocha with no Whip', and she suggested trying it with 'Vanilla Foam' instead, so I tried it. She was right, it tasted so good! Service was fast, I was literally in and out of their drive-thru.
