I got hyped by the sign on the window that displays Tacos 🌮 all vapor y tacos 🌮 de canasta, If you're mexican, you are waiting for your tacos on that specific way.
Tacos al vapor are not stream they are just regular tacos, and there's nothing special on them. There's no, they do not resemble nor taste like tacos, al vapor or the canasta they are misusing the meaning and the way they need to be cooked, also there's little to no meet on each taco, taste is ok not bad But unfortunately it's not what they are promoting, However, they do have some $5 deals. They have some chicken sandwich, chicken salad, Spicy chicken sandwich, which they Tom waited for French fries. They also have $1 taco on Tuesday's. I will suggest that if you're coming and try them out. Do the one dollar taco of tuesday!! One thing I'm gonna say is that the water. It is made fresh, not by powder or can. It's a little bit sweet for myself, butt good fresh water ($6.50 ). Is not bad, but it's not the best. What I don't like is that the armies you see the meaning of what they're displaying...
Read moreYelp needs to allow zero stars, because that is the score My experience deserves. DO NOT EAT HERE! I called in to share the experience from the order I received. I was explaining the issue with my order Lucy, (or at least that's what she said her name is) decided to literally argue and talk over me. HORRIBLE customer service. Instead of taking ownership Lucy decided to be unprofessional. I typically go to the Hacienda Heights location. The food is always cooked perfectly with no issue. The people there are customer service oriented. One would assume the same name and expect the same service. But I was wrong. If you like burned tortillas and over cooked chicken then this is the location for you. I will continue to go to the Hacienda Heights location. If this was my first time eating bukanas I would never spend my money on bukanas again. Lucy should not be working with the public her attitude will prevent good reviews for...
Read moreThis place is an interesting little restaurant that, to my knowledge, serves authentic-ish Mexican dishes. The dinner service is usually packed with Mexicans, which should indicate it's a good place to eat.
I tried their carnitas burrito which was pretty good, not overly messy and had a good enough bite to it The chicken enchilada was so so, it looked semi haphazardly put together but flavor wise was decent.
I tried their nachos and this is where I'm not sure if what I'm used to vs what they usually serve are different, but they provided only two slices of white cheese, loosely melted. By the time I got the order, the cheese is already re-solidified. Maybe I'm thinking too much, but I would have preferred the generic nacho cheese to coat as much chips as possible, instead of the weird...
