McDonald's — Restaurant in West Des Moines

I went to McDonald's with my family, we ordered our meals and we asked for Oreo McFlurrys, Sandwiches with fries. We drove up to the window and waited for awhile for the worker to show up, he was the only worker working by himself at the window while the manager in the back was preparing our food. The worker up front was kind to me but we seen that he hasn't had any gloves on the entire time, so we kind of let that slide.. We weren't really paying attention to the manager that much too.. When we got our food we seen that the worker at the window had rolled his eyes once he handed our McFlurry's and sandwiches. We got our food and I drove off. As I arrived home we ate our food but my child noticed something very disgusting in her sandwich.. even her McFlurry so she decided to stop eating everything, and she threw her food away. My younger son continued eating and so did I. Around 4am my son urged from his bed and threw up on the floor and rushed his way to the bathroom and continued to throw up... then had to use the restroom for a long time after... It got so bad to where he started to get a bad headache, and I had to take him to the hospital.. I haven't ever seen him throw up in so long.. He couldn't make it to school... I believe this is food poisoning... After all he just continued to throw up insanely.. I definitely do not recommend the McDonalds here at West Des Moines, IA... Very sketchy place and SELFISH workers.. Not to be...

I come here late after work a couple times a month when I’m desperate for some food. Tonight the service was just awful. Very rude staff at night it seems like. The person ordering next to me in the drive through had a worker being very short with them. When I got to order, the girl who took mine forgot my order and had to ask multiple times what I got. I ordered one meal. When I said thank you I got a “mhm”. When I paid, she said thank you have a goodnight which was nice.

When I got to the second window, the guy working the window didn’t even look at me as he shoved my drink in my face to take. I said thank you with no response as he shut the window. I waited for a bit for my food but I ordered food that was most likely needing to be made fresh (chicken nuggets) so I wasn’t upset. When he handed me the food, he did the same thing, shoved it in my face and slammed the window. I know these jobs are not fun to work and also understand it could have been a bad day, but wow. It doesn’t cost anything to be nice. I’ll be back but probably not for a while. Please do better.

The lady hispanic with color hair, put hispanic lady on register who barely understands english. She hiring hispanic who barely speak english. Manager came over and told me no I will not do that.. in custom your order. I WENT TO ANOTHER MCDONALD'S & HAD MY ORDER FILLED WITH NO PROBLEM. All others McDonald's customs my order, but this one. Customer service is ridiculous that I gotta pull into a spot. Just for 2 McDonald's ketchup only n small fries with less salt on it.

08/27/2023 Been standing at the counter for 7 minutes, and nothing was said to me or came to see what I needed. This McDonald's leadership SUCKS and young girl had attitude Slamming my food down on counter. Machine never printed a receipt, then I has two boy go look into my bag of food. After she called a number out. But they had no problem joking around with one of employees sister at front counter. They was all at counter hanging out. Then she got attitude with two...
