Wawa — Restaurant in West Goshen Township

Reason for my one star review (see edit below), I'm hoping to get someone in management's attention over the unbelievably excessive amounts of trash all over their property, which inevitably blows into the surrounding areas. Sometimes I'll see one of their employees picking up trash, which I'm pretty sure isn't in the job description, and falls way short of what's actually needed. It's in desperate need of maintenance and professional cleanup. It's BY FAR the dirtiest Wawa I've ever been too, and it's a huge disservice by polluting our community. And you could look at my history, I rarely leave negative reviews, but this has gone on far too long. The entire sidewalk is in desperate need of a power washing too, and there's so much garbage, cans, bottles and plastic littering all the trees and landscaping surrounding the entire property. Extremely disappointed with corporate/management for not addressing this, and continuing to pollute what's otherwise a clean community in West Chester.

Edit (3/9/23): I'm not sure if it was just a coincidence, but almost immediately after my review, conditions improved. Far from the cleanest Wawa in the area, and I'm only bumping them up from 1 to 3 stars, but we'll see how things go in the next few months and adjust accordingly. Been staying in West Chester for 3 months visiting from Australia. Whoever thought a petrol station would be one of our most visited places in that time. I think we spent like $500 in 3 months here on food, coffee and pretzels alone haha. Back home a servo station has petrol, pre-made sandwiches and a lukewarm sausage roll/meat pie.

Love the sandwiches available to order and customise, coffee (although nothing special) was good and had plenty of options, the cold 🥶 ice coffees need some work, the original was already super sweet and the flavoured ones were sickly sweet. Fountain drinks don’t exist back home, so on a hot day that was fun to do.

I found all staff lovely and helpful, going to miss our weekly sandwich visit, before we head home today, we’re going to go in and pick up about 10 pretzels. They were great, rate them higher than pretzel factory and giant just across the road.

Would love to open a wawa back home, Wawa Down Under...

I had an issue with my bagel at this location, and the manager exceeded my expectations. I ordered a veggie cream cheese bagel. Simple, but it’s often made poorly because staff are unsure of portion size for this recipe in my experience. I assume this was the case, because when I got my bagel it had 2 pieces of cucumber and one piece of tomato on a whole bagel with light cream cheese. Not at all what I wanted. I didn’t have any more money to order another one, so I was in a pickle.

I approached the manager and asked her for a remake. The speed of service and kindness I received from then on was appreciated. Sam treated my complaint with respect, and handed me a freshly made bagel 3 minutes later that was made correctly with 5-7 pieces of veggies. She even put a little extra cream cheese on I think.
