Fortune Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in West Hartford

I usually order from this place. This place has serious issues when it comes to customer service. Today when I called in to place an order the lady that answered the phone was very rude on the phone. However, as a human being I understand that some people won't be as positive as others or everytime they answer the phone. My husband just purchased this meal chicken wings with French fries. The chicken wings are miniature as if for a toddler. I brought the food back into the establishment and the lady at the register was extremely rude. I asked her "excuse me my husband just purchased this and the chicken wings are extremely small ". She then stated that there was nothing she can do about it some come small and others don't. I then told her I wanted a refund and she then said no, because I touched the food. I then told her she was extremely rude from answering the phone to even her customer service. She treats customers as if they are less then her. Then gentlemen in the back of the restaurant that was cooking told her just to refund me back the food. She then snatched the card out of my hand and gave me back the refund. I then told her that she was extremely rude and ignorant. She then stated she was going to call the police on me. I ordered food from here today to be delivered they sent out the wrong food I called them back and they informed me that the only way I could get my correct order was to come and get it myself it's 915 at night and I have no car when I informed them of this fact they said the driver could not make it back to me tonight and told me I should just eat what I had I have never tasted this dish before I am a real skeptic so I always order the same thing from every restaurant I go to...I had to argue with them for 10 minutes to get a refund and although the driver couldn't make it to me to bring me my correct order he had time to come pick up the incorrect order that they sent me that says a lot about their hospitality (even though I wouldn't eat it anyways it's just the principal) very disappointed finding a new...

When we first came to this shop it was OK food. 2 weeks ago, though, was horrible. Prices increased and my wife was caught in the middle of some workplace arguing between employees about the "new management".

The person behind the counter also argued about pricing on our food. We asked for egg rolls and for some reason the person decided that egg rolls that usually came with our order was not included and doubled in price?!

The end result was a very long wait time and subpar food that unfortunately was on the verge of spoiling. The rice was at some point left out for too long during their day and tasted horrible. We've decided to no longer buy here anymore. Too much trouble for us, ...
