Food is great, but that doesn’t cover the fact that the customer service is horrible. I placed my order through GrubHub, and on delivery the restaurant forgot my side order of fries. I called the restaurant to let them know and they gave me 2 options, either have the driver come back or they’d give me store credit towards my future order. I said that was fair I’ll take the credit instead of having the driver turn around. Before hanging up I thanked the female worker but also asked how do they keep track of this credit since she didn’t ask me for any information. She said they would notate my account by phone number so when I call to place an order it would come up. Here I am placing my “future order” and when I called and explained that I should have a credit with them, the “supervisor” proceeds to tell me he will not send any fries or apply any credit because he has no way of knowing my story is true. He said that there aren’t any female workers there anyway, so apparently I lied about speaking to someone. He also told me to call newington instead because they have female workers. I placed my order with West Hartford! Not newington! The fact that he had an immediate attitude and came off so defensive was incredible. He also told me since I placed my order on Grubhub i had to refer to them. I replied with they weren’t the ones who forgot my fries, you did! And if the policy isn’t the same for Grubhub customers, why didn’t the female worker I spoke with explain that to me? Or tell me something that isn’t true about notating the account. So that phone call resulted in nothing. Dan “the supervisor” couldn’t do a thing for me. He didn’t even try to look up my order or explain a thing. No type of professionalism. I contacted Grubhub and they did credit my account back. So I wait 2 hours for my delivery, and when the driver calls I get swearing and cursing through the phone about how it’s fu* raining hard and he can’t see sh**. I couldn’t wait to be done at this point. When I finally open the bag I have the wrong order. I have an order that I placed in the past through Grubhub LOL! The staff was friendly there was great communication at the place looked clean, a small store front right off the main road passing through West Hartford I brought my brother and my cousin with me they ordered the chicken tenders which they told me they enjoyed I ordered the hot buffalo wings and the seven pepper wings they were pretty good nice and crispy flavorful juicy but the price was a little and I mean very little overpriced compared to other places nearby but I believe their wings were larger than what you'll get from your typical local Pizza shop or Chinese restaurant on average they seem to be of the extra large variety that you will find at a smokehouse or wing shop which this was a wing shop so it made sense. Not usually a big problem, however the cardboard containers that the tenders came in today were leaking, sogging and literally collapsing by the time the food arrived. It was not the most appealing presentation given that the price of the food you sell isn't exactly cheap. Also, whoever packaged the food decided to take it upon themselves to consolidate two separate orders into one container. The purpose of my ordering two separate orders were that they were going to be going to two different places once they arrive. A little bit of inconvenience placed on us.
