Andy's Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in West Haven

I’ve never experienced such a horrible delivery service. My boyfriend and I placed an order for a calzone with bacon and ham and they told us it would take 30-45 minutes. Okay. 50 minutes later still waiting. When we finally get the calzone it contains ham and pepperoni. I’m an extremely sensitive to anything spicy. It physically makes me sweat and my body feel overheated and spicy food has a very unpleasant taste for me. Since this is a calzone I didn’t know it was wrong until after I ate a big bite of it. When the man came back to give me the correct order he demanded I give him the wrong one back. I explained to him that I had already taken a bite and there’s no point in giving the whole thing back. He continues to badger me and mock me asking if I had eaten the wrong one even though I keep repeating to him that I had to eat a bite to know it was spicy and not the correct order and the whole time my sister who has autism is on the couch in her pjs trying to relax and this ridiculous arguing is getting her upset. It’s one thing to take a long time for an order. It’s one thing to mess up someone’s order. It’s another thing if you come to my house and mock me and disrespect me and create a hostile environment for my autistic sister. Never been so upset and disappointed from a food...

I ordered a calzone today for delivery, the delivery took close to an hour when it should have taken 30-45 min. After it came my girlfriend took one bite of it and quickly started sweating due to the pepperoni. We ordered ham and bacon, not ham and pepperoni. It took about 20 min to fix the problem, but the driver asked for the original calzone back. Its not a pizza, but a calzone, meaning we had to cut it to know it was wrong and the box was already in the trash. I was forced to use my bare hands to try and give it back. The driver had a very ignorant and disrespectful attitude the whole time. I will never order from this extremly rude establishment again. Customer service needs to be improved. Buffalo chicken calzone is OMG SO GOOD I PROMISE. ^By the way it’s been years since I left that review and now again in 2025 i wanted to review them cuz I really love their pizza too. Didn’t realize I already reviewed them LOL Andy’s never disappoints. My man and I always go in there and I been going there for years. I think they’re Turkish? Amazing food.
