Dunkin' — Restaurant in West Haven

This place is one of the best Dunkin Donuts around. I've been to many from New York City to Connecticut. It is true not all Dunkin Donuts are created equal. Whether it's the coffee, donuts or just the upkeep. This place is five stars always. They will have you in and out in no time. Their items are always fresh. They are always very hospitable and courteous. The manager is a sweetheart always keeping everything moving and organized making sure the team works together. Heather is an all-time favorite! She has been there very long time always working above and beyond. She is exceptional amongst a great team. Kara is another one who is recognized and always trying to her best at all time. Even to rectify any situation if things go wrong. This place can be busy one minute and they will have everyone in and out in a short amount of time. My favorite Dunkin Donuts by far with no exception. There would only be one other honorable mention. They are actually on I-95 at one of the rest stops close to Exit 11. Other than that if you're in the neighborhood this Dunkin is hard to beat. My hat's off to you guys you make it happen day in Day Out and by far you're the cream in this neighborhoods coffee. I’m not one to leave reviews but lately this location has just not been up to par. I’m unfortunately extremely specific about what alternative milk I drink because A. I’m extremely lactose intolerant and B. I’ve developed a NUT allergy. With that being said I go here often solely because it’s close to home and almost every time something is wrong, big or small it’s always something. Today was probably the worst, I went and asked for the same coffee I get every morning, iced cold brew coconut with OAT MILK. I got to work and started sipping my coffee, then my throat started getting itchy. I look at the label on my coffee and they put almond milk. It’s a blessing I don’t have a bad enough allergy where I’d have to go to the ER. My point is they don’t pay enough attention at this location. I have been coming to this dunkin for 7 years now. Today, 5/18 at exactly 7:25 am, I went to the drive thru to order two things, a drink and a sandwich. I waited in the line for 8 mins only to be talked to rudely by an employee. Waited another 3 mins to get my order only to be told that they don't have my sandwich. She yelled at me "I don't have the sandwich but you can't order anymore because you're gonna hold up the line". She didn't even ask if I wanted to order something that is quick like a donut. I have expressed my dislike of the situation and she yelled at me "go!!!". This is a young girl. I just hate to see that this dunkin has gone from good to worst over the years. They are not trained to handle even the smallest of problem. Rudeness and intimidation is best served at this dunkin,...
