0 stars for me, no customer service what so ever. In my opinion, The Plate in Milford is so much better, slightly higher in price, but so worth it. My wife and I went to Nick's Luncheonette for breakfast on Sat morning April 6, 2024 and had 2 breakfast wraps, so we decided to order 2 cheese burger deluxe to go and have for dinner that evening to avoid going out again. Total was appx. $56 including tax & tip. I understand it was several hours later when we ate it. Lettuce was wilted, cheese had disinteragrated (so I added my own cheese + some mushrooms), and was not at all well done like I had asked for. (View pic below) The french fries were coated in some kind of messy batter and were nasty to me. My wife tried to eat some but ended up throwing them out. I have tried to call them since then, but I could not get anyone. I went online the following Weds, 4/10 and saw they close at 3 pm. Now It is 4 days later, at 3:23 p.m., that I finally got to speak to Irene. I explained to her what had happened. She was very condescending and unapologetic. She acted like I was stupid and kept saying, "Well, it's been 4 days," not even trying to understand that my burger was medium rare and not well done like I had requested. It seemed she really did not care and once again offered no apology. I asked for a manager, and that's when she said she was the manager. I found out Irene is also Nick's wife. A simple, I am sorry for that would do and I'm happy/finished, but not even. I told her I would write a review about this, but she did not care. The next day, I called and asked for Nick (the owner) but had to call him back later in the day, and when I did, I once again explained what happened. All I got from him was the same results. A total waste of time and effort. As you are reading this and other reviews, (most of which are good) you can see they never, not once (as of now) offered any kind of apology or a thank you to any customer whether satisfied or not. They simply do not own up. It seems like they just don't care. I believe any credible business would & should respond to any reasonable (especially negative) review they receive. Please do not waste your time here if you're having an issue with your food +/or customer service. Also, check your to go order before leaving. It really seems like both of them do not care if you return to eat there or are having issues with your food. It seems to be all about the $ and not your satisfaction, food & experience. I am really sad about having to write a review like this. I rarely have to write such a negative one, but its all true, and...
Read moreIf i could give this establishment a zero I would. The only employee there that actually apologized was the young man at the cash register. This was my very first time there as well.
Our waitress never brought several items that we ordered which she read back to our party and she never brought them. Long story short after the young man at the cash register apologized the older woman next to him proceeded to talk to our waitress and discuss what happend at our table and the waitress said "oh they never ordered that".The older woman then came back to us saying "next time say something to the waitress". I was floored and it was totally unprofessional especially when your customers are still present on a busy day like today.
I get it this pandemic brought out the best and also for some it may have brought out the worst but if thats the case lady please stay home because rest assure my family and I will NEVER vistit your...
Read moreI ordered from here and they gave me a large stack of pancakes instead of French toast but that’s not the issue I ignored that because I didn’t have time to go back. Today I went there and ordered a large stack of French toast again and knowing the first incident I checked the box and sure enough it wasn’t right it was a short stack. I wouldn’t get a short stack because my fiancé is pregnant and who wouldn’t get a third slice for $.79 extra? So I go back inside and the girl in the front was basically implying that I was lying then proceeds to charge me $4 plus tax for a slice of bread that should have been charged originally at a $.79 increase. So I grab a menu and knowing that she was wrong had the nerve to say she’s not going to argue with me it will be $1. Horrible staff plus it’s extremely tiny people waiting in and outside to be seated. The food isn’t that good to be waiting...
