China Inn Restaurant — Restaurant in West Hempfield Township

A family friend and I ordered here and we thought it was fine. It wasn’t a complicated order, it was shrimp with snow peas and house fried rice as well as steamed chicken with rice two egg rolls and then we went back to order spare ribs. When we got home we found out that the shrimp and snow peas was changed to shrimp with mixed vegetables without our knowledge. When we told them we want them to fix this and give us what we ordered, they said it was our fault for ordering shrimp with snow peas and expecting it to only be shrimp and snow peas. We asked if we came in and they would give us what we originally ordered, the shrimp and snow peas, they said yes with no extra charge. Then when we got there they lied and said she never had our conversation. We explained that they falsely advised and was refusing to make it right to the two male family members who said we were in the wrong for ordering shrimp and snow peas. They refused to correct the situation and said we just shouldn’t come back if we don’t know how to order. They refuse to take accountability and prefer to weed out customers they really can’t afford to lose. This restaurant uses gaslighting, manipulation and self sabotage to do their business. OK well let me see where to start first. this was the first time trying this place, a few closer might have 5 star review over-all but to be honest so far this got my vote. Ordered the combo #8 chicken for my daughter ( very Picky) also a Qt. of wonton soup and 3 extra egg rolls . my daughter loved it, the wife loved the Wonton, ( She is also picky) and well the egg rolls, to be honest i haven't had them this perfectly fried and made since my Step dad had his own Chinese Restaurants. Yes he is from Tiwan . so i grew up on Chinese food. and am very picky also. not many places can cook as good as he can. . Oh god... avoid this place at all cost! We live local and have desperately tried to give this place a chance. The woman that runs the front/ phone is.... angry? hates you? doesn't want your business? She mean every time I call, mean to my husband when he picks up the food and from what he said, mean to the other customers too. The food is eh... good enough that we've ordered from them several times in the last few months. This last time was the final straw though.
