I used the mobile app to place an order and pay. I then parked in spot number four and indicated my location upon arrival. I waited easily 15 minutes without my order being delivered curbside. I finally called and told them I had been waiting while 10 cars and trucks went through the drive-through. They apologized and said my order would be right out and they were very busy. Another seven minutes later they bring my order. I get home and find that my happy meal for my grandson had a Mc double burger with extra pickle in it. The Mc double had been made 15 minutes before I even placed my order. I ordered a cheeseburger happy meal with ketchup only on the burger. My grandson would not eat it. Read moreJust some friendly little advisement for the management at the Columbia, PA McDonald's: In the future, the next time a customer asks you to please turn down that arctic blasting AC in the dining area first thing in the morning, then be a good little mensch, and... DO IT. Because your job description tells you that it is entirely appropriate to be cooperative with your customer base. Personally, I have no time to shell out money to socially retarded businesses including ones who're too arrogant to answer a customer properly. Case in point: When I asked you to turn the AC down a little bit, your answer to me was: "Honey, that's not in my control, right now." then you walked away. Unacceptable. The better and more customer-friendly answer you should have stuck with, should have been something like: '... I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, sir; as soon as I have a free moment, I will try to turn off the AC, temporarily.'
Not very difficult to do, that is... if one likes their line of work. See... being grateful is not merely limited to the poor. It also extends to...
