I had heard amazing things about Lard Lard Donuts, and was SUPER excited to eat their pink donut. I was soon disappointed by the quality of the donut and the service that they provided us. I was in a very long line for the donut that took almost 40 minutes of my time. I would have understood why there was a long line, except that the employees were taking forever to get a simple donut that was already made. There was a random person with a chef hat walking around randomly observing the lines and doing absolutely nothing. The actual donut was terrible! I had expected the donut to be at least decent quality, but it lacked a lot of sugar and had no taste. I shared it with three of my friends and we were glad we hadn’t splurged on buying four different donuts because one was sufficient. If you decide to buy a donut from Lard Lad Donuts I suggest that you buy it prior to getting on the Studio Tour because the studio tour allows you to bring food on the ride. This is such a fun place!! We went here almost a year ago. I love seeing Springfield at Universal. It's so cute and realistic. This donut was huge! We ended up finishing it and I can still remember how much my stomach hurt lol It was good but the frosting had a very strong strawberry taste. I like strawberry but I'm not used to it being quite that strong. It tasted more like strawberry flavored candy though, not authentic strawberry. It was good but So. Much. Sugar.
