I had the opportunity to visit Hogwarts Express, and it was truly a captivating experience! As a Harry Potter fan, embarking on this legendary journey to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was incredible for me.
The interior of the train was filled with meticulous attention to detail. I felt fully immersed in the atmosphere described in the original books and depicted in the films. The little touches like experiencing the anti-gravity drink and collecting Chocolate Frog cards added to the enchanting ambiance.
The scenery from Hogwarts Express was also breathtaking. Looking out of the train's window, I witnessed passing villages, green hills, and the captivating scenes while going through tunnels. It was truly exhilarating, as if I had momentarily left the real world behind and stepped into the magical realm.
Hogwarts Express revived my love for the favorite books and films of my childhood. This train was a dream come true for Harry Potter fans. I was amazed by the creative power of Hollywood, and I highly recommend this experience to everyone. If you want to embark on an adventure in the Harry Potter world, be sure to secure your place on the...
Read moreWalk into the gates of Hogsmeade Village, and immediately to your left is Hogwarts Express complete with the train conductor greeting folks in front of the train.
The train is only of the first train car (locomotive). So it’s not designed to board onto unlike the Hogwarts Express in Florida. Even the design of the wall mimics a tunnel and looks as if the train is coming out of it. The gift shop mimicked the train station. There is a posted train schedule near the entrance. They even had ticketing windows inside gift shop, well they were actually the cash registers. The shop sells a bunch of platform 9 3/4 and Hogwarts Express merchandise.
The train ramp is roped off and folks are not allowed onto it. If you look close, there are footlockers (including Harry’s), suitcases, and empty owl cages placed about.
A cast member acts the part of the train conductor and folks can take pictures with him. The actor, in the morning I was there, was more subdued than the afternoon actor. The fella in the afternoon was in full tilt and committed to the part complete with a bad British accent and the telling of tall...
Read moreThis was the only thing I wanted to do and so glad I did!!! We were stuck on the ride for a little bit because (I'm assuming) someone had a problem getting on/off the ride because it's on a moving platform. A dream location for any Harry Potter fan and if you buy a wand, there's hidden locations throught the attraction where you can use it to do "magic". The conductor at the train was only there in the mornings when we went, but it was a hot two days, so maybe they dont let him stay out for safety, but if you want a photo, go in the morning!! Hogsmede is also one of the few places where you can get "real" food, not pizza/burgers and the like, and the Great Feast easily served 4 of us and, BONUS, you can order ahead so you're not waiting in line!! We stopped on the way out to get sweets, my daughter opted for a cupcake whereas I HAD to get a...
