My overall experience with this Del Taco has been a hit and miss. Occasionally, orders are incomplete or half-a**ed. Not to mention, the customer service is seriously lacking. If my wife isn't receiving attitude, then I am. I feel like some of the employees do not care to do their job correctly. Just today, 10/31/24, I went through the drive thru, and with no one in the drive thru, I was greeted with delay. I had to repeat my order a couple of times just to make sure I got everything on there. After getting to the drive-thru window, I was asked if I wanted condiments, to which I replied with yes. After leaving, I will admit I failed to review my order as I thought everything would have been there. After getting home, I saw I was missing my receipt, the condiments, and the food I requested. So I came back to the store to try to receive what I was missing. I was greeted by the manager and told her of my problem. She quickly took my order down and made the food, which I was super grateful for, which is why I am giving service at least a 2 star. However, the same cashier I dealt with in the drive-thru was my expediter, and as I received my food, I said, "Thank you very much," to which I was replied with a, "Yeah," and a scowl on her face. I was sent off by the woman cashier with attitude instead of an apology for not paying attention and ensuring the order was correct. The original order took place about 8:30 or so and and the follow-up took place at about 9:15 am. I did not receive a name, but I feel that this individual wearing the patchwork face makeup at this time needs to be spoken to about proper customer service. 30 minutes in the drive-thru and the only thing that we received right was our drinks and mild hot sauce!
Round 1 in the drive-thru, ordered a grilled chicken street taco plato and a #6. I got up to the window and realized the total I was being charged was off and that the plato wasn't put on the order, only a grilled chicken street taco and a #6. I informed the gentleman running the drive-thru of the error and he seemed confused as to which plato I wanted. After repeating myself a couple times he realized which platos i wanted he proceeded to cancel my whole order and only charge me for the plato assuming I didnt want the #6 anymore?? After telling him I still wanted the #6 along with the plato he responds "I asked you if you still wanted that" and then "if you still want it you gotta go back through because I'm on a timer". I oblige and head back through.
Round 2 in the drive through! my girlfriend ended up changing her mind on the #6 and instead wanted a #5 and a cheese quesadilla. we order and this time make sure to have him repeat it back to us. we get the food and pull into the parking lot to check if everything was right and find that he put the order down for a #4 so instead of 2 grilled chicken tacos we received ahamburger, we still received a quesadilla so we decided to just leave and head home. Upon getting home we found that the quesadilla was cold and the cheese was hardly melted and that the 1st order for the grilled chicken street taco plato was not what we received but instead we got a regular taco plato and 1 grilled chicken...
Read moreWe went to this location on 7/30/23 at 12:14 am. We ordered the Fiesta Box which stated on the menu board a price of $18.50 for 6 Del Tacos and 6 bean and cheese burritos. When we were at the drive thru window to pay, the cashier told me "$22.35". When I asked why a higher amount, She stated the total was "for the price of the fiesta box plus tax and other charges". I asked what other charges? She vaguely stated "well there are snack tacos or del tacos or something mumbled". I told her that I ordered exactly what was on the board and it was listed as $18.50. She said "well, I don't know what the board says but that is the charge anyway." She then told me-"We have had other people complain too." So they are aware of the discrepancy and let it continue! I asked for a manager but was told there was no manager on site. She then said "if you want I will only charge you $18.50". Of course- thats what they are being advertised as on your menu board. She assured me she would do that. I paid and asked for the reciept- she said it was "in the box". I thanked her and left. Turns out she lied to me. She charged me the $22.35. Now, I realize it's only a few dollars- but if something is priced lower and multiple customers have been knowingly mischarged- there is a problem. Then to be told she would correct it -and not do so, but sneakily charge me the higher amount and hide the receipt in the bottom of the box is just ridiculous!
