People seem to think that when they go to a McDonald's they're paying for a five star experience. Here's the thing; it's McDonald's. I'm pretty sure everyone knows what that entails. I eat here almost every day, at this particular location because it's closest to my house, and have only had my order messed up once. Even if there is a problem with your food, all you have to do is go back through the drive through or up to the counter and inform them, respectfully, and they will help you out. The only times I have ever seen the employees or managers being "rude" or "mean" is when the customers are rude first. You have to understand that the people working here are humans too, and most of them are teenagers who really don't get paid to care about your $1 burger.
Here's another thing people can try to keep in mind: there are certain times of the day when the store is a lot busier than you would like. Just check the google page that all of you are reviewing on, it shows you when the busiest times are. If you need a speedy in and out experience then probably don't hop in the line if you can see that there are 4 or more cars, definitely not if the line goes out past the order takers. It's just common sense and all of you seem to think that you can order 20 burgers and have all of your food delivered to you in under 5 minutes when that's really not the case.
And that's the other thing, is that the more food you order, the longer it will take to get it to you. The more complicated your order is, the longer it will take to get it to you. If you want a genuine experience with above average food, waiters, and personalized orders then go to Chili's, or Red Robin, or Texas Road House. Those are the kinds of sit-in restaurants that are meant to cater to your every need. Fast food restaurants like McDonald's are meant to give you a couple of burgers, fries, and drinks and get you out of there as fast as possible.
But don't complain if your order takes ten minutes to get to you, you know you've waited longer in other restaurants, so try and be a little understanding. The employees aren't out to get you, they don't hate you, and they don't try to mess up your burgers on purpose. Actually as a food reviewer and critic I have catalogued the number of times my food and my friends' and family's food has been incorrect, and it is actually a proportionately small number in comparison to the number of times I've eaten here.
So complain all you want, but you're really getting the bang for your buck. It's way too easy for people to complain about the littlest things, like the employees forgetting napkins or a sauce packet here and there. Just don't go parading around and getting angry with the demographic of the employees (which is about 16-20) who really don't know any better, and get your head out of your ass.
Thanks...
Read moreANNABELLE/ANNABEL/ANNEBELLE(sorry I do not now how she spells it) Normally, when I come here, the people are usually cordial, but tonight a young woman named Annabelle completely made my evening. She was very genuinely kind, delivered my food to the curbside, and then she asked me something that no other McDonald’s employee has ever asked me while delivering food on a curbside order!
She says is there anything else you would like or Need as she turns to get ready to run inside to grab something for me before I had the chance to say yes or no? I didn’t need anything, but I was completely caught offguard By her unexpected, but most Welcomed kindness.
Most of the time the employee will just come and ask What your name is and verify your order and tell you to have a nice day, or at least that has been my experience. I’m not saying the other employees are rude or have treated me rudely, Most McDonald’s employees I interact with are cordial, they don’t lay on the fake “customer is always right attitude” but are cordial, But tonight ANNABELLE/ANNABEL/ANNEBELLE(sorry I do not now how she spells it) went above and beyond.
People take small things like a kind gesture for granted in our world today, especially younger people. I see and meet more people who have massive amounts of unearned entitlement Who truly believe that the world owes them a favor that other people are put on this earth just to serve them Or make them happy forgive them something sadly from my personal perspective, This Unearned Entitlement is spreading faster than Herpes at an Post Malone...
Read moreTerrible McDonald’s! I live close by and we have learned to avoid this location. They have never got my order quite right. Missing nuggets in my kids orders, no cheese on my 1/4 pounder/cheese. And don’t ask for a cup with your ice cream cone. They will charge you for a Sunday. Instead you can ask for a free water cup and through the ice cream in yourself. Go figure. The service is slow despite always seeming way overstaffed. I’m actually posting now because my kids begged and we had just finished a long drive so the thought of a hassle free dinner brought me in against my better judgment. At first I was hopeful because for the first time ever, I got fresh fries from this location. I was content until I drank the wrong drink and received the wrong burger and only one of the two kids meals had a toy. Does this place hate me? At first I thought “oh they gave me the wrong order”. Then I realized I was the only car in line!! This is all a shame too because the location is great and the restaurant is new and nice, but that is no justification for such awful service and never fresh food. This McDonald’s needs to take a lesson from literally any...
