Lavazza — Restaurant in West Lafayette

Food is comparably priced to other on-campus spots and ingredients seem to be of a higher quality. Sandwiches inconsistently come with condiments. On several occasions service has been lackluster: minimal eye contact, speaking casually to coworkers while completing transactions, no ask of receipt before tossing it in the trash, forgot my order once (when moderately busy). Does not seem to be very customer service oriented. There is a decent amount of seating albeit cluttered. Will return but more so out of convenience...

Go to place for coffee, cookies other goodies if you are situated in this part of campus. My association with this place has been 4+ years. During my wife's defence, we made it a point to serve coffee & goodies from Lavazza. I'm going to chalk this negativity up to lack of employee training and me not asking questions, assuming based on the name that I would get something passable.
