Insane lack of value, prices are hoping visitors and Purdue tourists cannot go more than a mile from campus. Sadly the menu has wildly bloated numbers double what many similar restaurants offer, Town and Gown, Bistro 501, RedSeven deliver and reach above expectations unlike the dull expensive dry roast recently eaten this past week. I cannot comprehend this place, after four visits with friends, unable to recommend any dish or drink as a standout win up against the cost. Let me nail down each dish we had this past Wednesday, the grilled bacon was entirely fine, quite tough but nice fatty flavors, I like Teay's River candied bacon app better. Oyster was good, east coast briny does me right. Our Old Fashioneds were insanely expensive without offering any memorable flavors, balance seemed restrained neither giving a forward bite or a smooth sweetness. Strawberry Lemon sprits was similar, an overpriced kid's slushy. Asparagus was fine. Potato sides surprisingly flavorless, we all couldn't believe how dull the potatoes were. My sister's salmon looked half the size of Town and Gown's while costing fifty percent more and offering half the food. She did finish the ocean protein but left most of the rice. Thankfully the desserts were better, bread pudding somewhat dry and needing a sparkle of that smooth actual pudding but the winner was definitely the key lime. Rich and dense, dreamy and tangy, I got happy! Sure the atmosphere and staff is enjoyable, providing some fresh city vibes compared to the homely and old school Mountain Jacks. However Jacks and Mcgraws Steakhouse both do far better as culinary is concerned. Would be exciting to see this place fix up their inconsistency, out of touch pricing, or they'll be the next to go the way of Bowen Bistro during the next...

Wow in a word. We stopped by the Bistro and ended up at the bar. Man was this a blessing in disguise. We had the deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail and crab croquettes as appetizers. For the entre, we all had the Wagu burger, medium, and added egg and bacon to get the full experience. The final coup de Gras was the highly recommended key lime pie! This put the night over the top!

The food, the appetizers are petite but flavorable.the burger, oh my Gawd...cooked medium as it should be. Slightly pink center and packed with flavor. The flavors blend, with no one flavor over powering the other. This was, bar none the best burger I have eaten. My friends with me agreed, it was one of the best they have had.

Now the staff. Alyssa our main bartender/wait person, aided by Leah and supported by big boss manager Ashley! Alyssa and Leah, beyond the food, is a key reason for us to come back, the service is unbeatable...and Alyssa's drinks to die for. I had an old fashion to die for which was hands down one of the best.

I can go on and on, but suffice to say, the bar is a MUST stop. The team mentioned above is great..so worth...

I intended to leave this review earlier but got caught up during our visit. My family and I were celebrating with our recent graduate and decided to get drinks. At the host stand, we were greeted with the warmest smile. The host kindly asked how many were in our party, and I told her four. Smiling, she assured us it would take just five minutes to prepare a table for us. In less time than that, she returned, still smiling, and seated us promptly. Her efficiency and politeness stood out. Even when no one was at the host stand, she was busy helping clean tables or delivering menus.

Curious, I asked if she was a student, and she shared that she was an education major. This surprised me because her professionalism and ability to engage with others so warmly made me think she was part of a hospitality program. We ran into her again the next morning at the coffee shop, and her work ethic continued to impress. Thank you, Liz, for such a...

Here is no doubt the best bar in town and probably even around greater Lafayette area. Solid cocktail with decent liquor selections paired with lively atmosphere and decorations of the bar, being here is definitely a brief escape from rest of the town. Me and my friends have been going here since the first day they opened and probably had spent way too much than we should. If you plan to go here a lot, definitely get a loyalty card from them. And I want to end this review with a special shoutout (as well as extending my sincerest thanks) to Jordan, one of the bartenders here, whose willingness of exploring new recipes and dedication to crafting cocktails of true quality are what make the experience here even better.
