McDonald's — Restaurant in West Lake Hills

So, it's McDonald's -- I'm not expecting much. I used the mobile app to order. I then went inside, ordered a drink I forget, and waited. There were no lids at the beverage station. While I was waiting, a senior citizen came in and ordered two apple pies and two sundaes. After she ordered, she was told that they were out of ice cream and offered her two more apple pies. Only to discover they only had one more and then offered her cookies. No refund for the difference even though cookies and apple pies are less expensive. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for a lid and my Filet-O-Fish sandwiches. Waiting. Waiting. No apology. No, "sorry for your wait.". Just hanging out food to people who ordered after me. Then, finally, I see the make the sandwiches in the back 11 minutes into my visit. 11 minutes to start making them. After 13 minutes, I'm on my way. I've been to this restaurant before, and each time they're explaining that they're out of one thing or another. Sometimes it's just one or two people frantically running around making the food, dealing with the drive-thru and the counter. Not this night. They had four people: a full crew. But clearly they were confused and print in as minimal effort as possible. But, u get it. ...

Wanted to see the new breakfast chicken sandwiches they had to offer. Somewhat updated decor however damaged in some places. The back of the kitchen littered with boxes. Ice machine was down today causing a loss in employees time who are emptying giant bags of ready ice into the machines. Went to get some ice for my coffee which didn't have that much. Low and behold the lid to the ice machine came crashing down upon me. Was able to avoid being .Good workers here friendly. They had Spanish music playing in the back keeping the workers spirited as the continued to work. Biscuit was fresh The chicken tasted like the chicken fried chicken you would get when you were a kid in elementary school. For such a nice neighborhood this location is in you would figure McDonalds would either have the franchisee move this location further down or do a complete tear down and remodel to keep up with McDonalds standards for their franchisee establishment. I recently renting an apartment in this area and I have now come by this restaurant twice I have to say, I know that it is fast food and it is supposed to be quick so they have a lot of the items ready on the Shelf but, I ordered a chicken nugget order as well as a cheeseburger Double Quarter Pounder and both where not fresh and or not even Within Maybe an hour of when they were actually made. These items were both cold on both orders and the service at the window was not the friendliest meaning no one there was smiling. I clearly paid for the order to be super-sized and the only thing they gave me was the large drink so the gal at the window had to make the correction and give me the super size fries. Mickey D's is known for its french fries so I happened to come through there right when the fries were being dropped into the grease. I was able to get a hot order of french fries therefore this is why I give it three stars. Otherwise hopefully they make the necessary changes here at...
