Just went in and gave this place a try for the first time today. I already knew what I wanted before I came in. The only reason I came in was because I saw that the reviews were good enough and they had a burger and Cajun tots. Even though the burger was very basic, it was good enough for anybody to really enjoy. The meat was so juicy and dripping onto my plate as I picked it up. It was served on a grilled ciabatta that they baked themselves. I ordered the Eldon Burger. There's an option for cheeses, but I got cheddar. I'm not sure what was in their house sauce. It wasn't anything fancy. It was just very good. The Cajun tots were perfectly crispy and full of flavor. Something really good to dip into my ranch. It was about 12:30 pm when I went in. It says there's a capacity for about 76 people, but I only saw 3 tables taken. I sat in a booth. There was easy listening music and a wide variety of tvs playing different stations. There was sports and even a cartoon on the Disney station. I would say this place is very family friendly. All the potential to be a sports bar without the sports bar feel. The place is very modernized from the old pizza parlor before it. But hey, they also make pizza and wings here, too. Maybe I'll try that the next time. They have a group room here for reserving big parties if you need that. My server Danielle was very polite and attentive, but not hovering. She did a great job. My bill for a burger, Cajun tots, and a diet coke came to $18. I left a good tip for the great service as well. I got my food in less time it would have taken me to go through the drive-through at Burgerville. And trust me, Burgerville was no match to the price and quality at Eldon's. I will be back and I will bring friends. UPDATE* I have now been here three days in a row. The second day I brought a housemate for lunch and then my other housemate showed up on his own while we were eating. Also because I told him how good it was. He is 78 and loved the fries and the Elden Burger. I split an order of the bourbon wings and a burger with cajun tots with my other house mate. I could taste that they made their own bourbon sauce to which they confirmed. Tonight I tried the BBQ Chicken Pizza, the on tap Guiness and a side salad. There were quite a bit of people there as well as their children and teens having a great time. The pizza was so good. The best in the area. The crust was so light and crispy. I swear I could have eaten the entire 12" pizza, but I decided to bring some home for later. Everything was so perfect. The beer was absolutely the best. Pretty good salad as well. I've never had a restaurant get everything so perfect this many times. I'll be sad when I move away from this area. Such a...
Read moreGrowing up in West Linn this spot use to be the Round Table Pizza (a West Linn Staple). Any millennial growing up here knows how important RTP was here and how involved they were in the local community. As we know RTP shutdown leaving West Linn a big hole in its heart for a good local pizza joint and I feel Elden has done a good job to fill that void. First off the remodel is fantastic! The bar looks great and they kept the room in the back for events/parties! Heck they even still have an arcade! The owners are lovely and passionate about bringing back a solid pizza joint to the West Linn locals. I tried their pizza today and it was fantastic! The staff was on point and polite with zero delays. The pizza is made fresh and I saw they even do fresh pasta which I plan on trying next!
My only gripe is that I had no idea they existed and that the branding doesn’t make it clear that it’s a pizzeria. Even though on closer Inspection the logo has a pizza in it you just can’t tell from the small sign in the marquee.
I hope they push their marketing and that word of mouth gets around because what they built at Elden’s is truly something special that the locals can grow to love!
Best of luck Elden’s you make a great pizza and I look forward to...
Read moreGood spot. Went the day they opened and there were no hiccups and everything was fast and good quality.
They started off awesome at their opening and remain awesome.
The Elden Pie is outstanding. So is the BLT. I've heard the wings are great as well. Has weekly specials that are typically incredible.
Service was fantastic, my server was super attentive and professional. Great first impression of their overall attitude. Service continues to be excellent.
Has a cool arcade area with pacman/galaga, prize grabber machines, and even an old-school teenage mutant Ninja turtles pinball machine!
Atmosphere is chill and welcoming.
I think it would be cool if they started doing some little events. Trivia night. Set up an area for some live music. Open mic. That sort of thing.
Anyway keep rocking Jeremy and staff, keep up the...
