Philadelphia's Steaks & Hoagies — Restaurant in West Linn

My partner I found this place on postmates about 6 months ago and after our first bite we knew this was going to become a new favorite place! Their sandwiches are HUGE and absolutely delicious! They are made fresh to order, fresh ingredients and yummy bread! The price is more than reasonable considering the size of sandwich! You can order them for delivery through Postmates, Uber eats and you can order online for take out.. they don't do dine in right now due to Covid restrictions. We pass by every day on our way home from work and have made Philadelphia's a weekly tradition, every Friday we order our sandwiches as we're leaving work and they are always ready to go when we get there to pick up. The young man who's always working on Wednesday, with the glasses, is an absolute delight! He remembered us by name, face and order just after our 2nd time in and is always so sweet and makes us feel so welcomed. He says he loves seeing us every Wednesday and looks forward to chatting with us every week, if that's not supreme customer service I don't know what is! West Linn superb find for simply delicious sandwiches. Monday just happened to be half price night from 5:30-8pm on all steak based sandwiches. Six kegs to choose from brewed by Victor of PDX. Italian, Veggie, Chicken options other than steak. I had a pepper cheese steak with a session lager and it was divine. Self serve pickles that seem endless (My companion was a very happy pickle monster). A horseradish sauce to top your own sammie was intense. Try its power before you overuse, unless you are bold and feel like tearing up. It is missing one star because of a because of a small menu. Kettle chips are available to add, but limited options on sides. I think I saw sign for Caesar salads that they had printed out to help with that. Lots of Philadelphia themed decoration in the place. Overall I'd give it 4.7 stars to be precise....

Overall kind of lackluster experience.

Staff was very nice but...

The food tasted okay. And the place looked clean enough. But I would have to say their portion size definitely leave something to be desired. I ordered the cheesesteak and it came almost half empty there was just enough steak to fill the inside of the bread but nothing more. It looked almost pitiful compared to others that I've had. That coupled with the fact that there are no french fries or onion rings or anything added on. My plate looked pitiful. I would be fine with the food if it wasn't so expensive. The Cheesesteak ended up being about $12 or $13. and like I said that's without fries or a side.

If you are stuck and you need someplace to eat this place sells food but that is as good as I can...
