The waitress was prompt and did a good job keeping our glasses full and taking orders. Unfortunately, there is no excuse for serving partially frozen sashimi. I ordered the "River" combination. I wasn't really paying too much attention when they brought the food, so I didn't notice that they actually brought me the "Mini River" combination. When I realized what had happened, I pointed it out to the waitress and she adjusted the bill. Unfortunately the "Mini River" is, in my opinion, overpriced for what you are getting and definitely not what I wanted. I would never have ordered that plate. Everyone makes mistakes, so I understand. The much bigger issue is that the tuna sashimi was partially frozen and the salmon, while not actually being frozen, was so cold that it was very unpleasant to eat. The tuna also did not taste right. It was hard to determine the quality, since it was frozen, but it tasted like ocean water and did not settle well on my stomach. I plan to never eat here again and I would highly recommend going to one of the other numerous sushi locations...

The spicy tuna roll was NOT spicy, plus I had to ask for it 3/4 through my main dish of Phat phrik khing which was made with FROZEN green beans that tastes like rubber and instead of a peanut sauce they just threw a ton of peanuts in it. Horrible food. The waitress was nice, but again, forgot half my order. The others in my group were ok with the yakisoba, but Safeway made it just as good. The gal that got the lunchbox left a full piece of nigiri because it tasted awful. No flavor, not fresh. The only thing good was...
Read moreWe went for an early dinner on a Thurs night. Good decision as I could see this place filling up due to COVID occupancy restrictions. We started with their garlic edamame- highly recommend. For dinner we ordered shrimp yakisoba, the French roll (wrapped in a crepe!), spicy tuna roll, an unagi hand roll, daimyo roll, and salmon nigiri. Our dinners came out just as we were finishing our edamame. The yakisoba was excellent. The French roll and the nigiri were very good. The other rolls, all made with seaweed paper, tasted good but the paper was tough and chewy. We will probably try again and I'll update...
