First time at this pod, and overall it was a could have been a better experience, but I would try again because it could have just been an off night. The layout is nice. The bar is equipped very well with your choice of social lubricants. Overall, the place is really clean. I went to Pinto Thai and I should have been worried when they didn't ask me what spice level I wanted. It was my first time here and I really wanted to like this place but the Pad Kee Mao lacked flavor and the noodles were blanched too long to the point that once it hit the wok, it became overcooked. I will say that the mango sticky rice was the redeeming factor here. My wife and I enjoyed it immensely. If I come back to this cart again, I will at least give it another try. My wife had a gyro at the Mediterranean joint. The gyro itself was a little on the small side, however the gyro meat was good. What's funny is we got the cooks swearing up and down that they gave my wife tzatziki when it was really ranch dressing with no cucumbers.
Food was a little disappointing, but I would come back and try the slider joint, and I heard the Mexican cart may be...
Read moreVery nice food cart spot. Lots of tables and seating areas, very clean. Bar area is nice and they seem like they have a decent selection, though I did not get anything alcoholic that day. My dad had street tacos from Street Heat, he said it was overpriced and not worth $18. Not bad tasting, but "generic". It had no extra flavor profile or quality that you couldn't find anywhere else in portland. We give the tacos 3/5 stars. I had the combo plate with Teri Chicken and Spicy Teri Chicken w/ a side of Spam Musubi from Aloha Grill. it was all VERY delicious, filling and only a dollar more then the tacos for much more food. I give Aloha Grill's Spam Musubi, Teri & Spicy T Chicken a very solid 5/5 stars. Special mention to the Mac salad from them as well, very...
Read moreWe’re slacker West Linn residents that just ventured out to Willamette Garage for the first time and we were very happy with our experience. We went with our kids and there really is something for everyone! Husband tried Four Corners while the kids & I got items from Street Heat - all the food was delicious and servings were so big that we brought home a bunch of leftovers! It’s early February and it was nice and cozy by the fire feature. The garage is always hosting family friendly events (game & movie nights, special events, live music, etc), so keep an eye on their calendar! Next time we come hubby has his eyes set on Electric Slider Co and I’m looking forward to trying Chop Spot...
