Bob Evans — Restaurant in West Manchester Township

We had an absolutely horrible server. We asked numerous times for straws and had to go up front and get out own. I ordered hot tea which she never brought. I asked about the status of my hot tea several times. Then she told me the manager had to get it. Really just a cup of hot water and a tea bag. After more than 20 minutes I went up front to ask where my tea was. She yelled at me saying she was really busy. I said I was thirsty. She proceeded to yell at me more saying if we wanted better service we should have come in an hour earlier. We got there a little before 7 and they close at 8. We should have received good service no matter what time we arrived if they were still seating people. She was the worst server I have ever encountered. The manager came out while the server was still yelling at me. It is not an exaggeration, she was yelling. The manager tried to stop her. She proceeded to yell at the manager everything she yelled at me. The server went in the back. She eventually came out and was crying to another patron. It doesn't get much more unprofessional than that.. She was the most unpleasant and unprofessional server I have ever encountered. I expected better from Bob Evans. I realize there is a shortage of restaurant workers, but they scraped the bottom of the barrel with her. I told the manager that the server told me that the manager had to get my tea. She shook her head no. The manager brought my hot tea out and assigned a different server. The new server was amazing. She took great care of the 6 people at my table while she still had her other tables. It would have been 1 star if the manager had not assigned a great server. The food...

My husband and I have frequented this restaurant for years and enjoyed good food and service in the past. But that was in the past. We decided to give it one more try this past Sunday. The service was horrific. We're sharing this in hopes that they can fix it before too many people decide to give up on this place. There were multiple people waiting for a table and the hostess was just standing behind the counter staring into space. She finally got us seated. We waited and waited for a server. We stood up deciding that we were going to leave and she finally came to our table. No apology for the wait. She finally took our order. We got our drinks except for the iced tea.....apparently, it was brewing. We waited forever on our food. (we ordered rolls which they typically bring before the meal, but not this time) In fact, we NEVER got the rolls. The food was good. The server finally brought the tea. Still no rolls even after asking. Watching the staff, it did appear that they had plenty of personnel, just totally disorganized and seemed as if no one really cared about the customers. Our server never came back to check on our meals nor drinks. After we had finished, we had to stop her to get the check. We told her then that we never received the rolls. She did bring us rolls to go. We get to the register and again, the hostess seemed gave the impression that she just didn't want to be there. We left very disappointed and saying that it would be months (if ever) that we would give this...

Went in at 5pm. Was hardly any tables with people inside. Ended up getting our food at 6pm, with our waitress saying that there was just one cook in the back, but that doesn't make sense because a couple got sat down much later after us with another waitress and they had gotten their bread before our breakfast even came out, and their food came out so much quicker that by the time they were don't eating, our food at just arrived. And it wasn't like our food was just made, because the pancakes we had ordered were room temperature as well as my has browns. The blueberry topping was also ice cold, and my sausage gravy had that little film gravy gets on it when it cools off. Our waitress offered hardly any condolences whatsoever, and was doing everything but getting our food to us, (I.e, cleaning tables, seating other people). Also, there was about 4 other people working, but instead of doing anything productive they all just stood around in a circle and talked to each other. In fact, the other waitress who was actually doing stuff at a good pace stopped and asked us if we were alright bc she saw us looking around.

Terrible service. No one accept one person seemed content on actually doing their job. 2/10 will never...
