I really love this store because you always have great items and excellent customer service, but I was disappointed with what happened today.
I came in to return two separate transactions (different receipts, both purchased with the same TJ Maxx credit card). Normally, experienced associates combine these into one return, but the associate today processed them separately. During the second return, I placed the receipt on top of the jeans I was returning, but she didn’t even pay attention and it got misplaced. She then marked the return as “without receipt,” even though I had it from the beginning, and I was given store credit instead.
When I tried to explain, she simply argued with instead of really looking for the receipt. I didn’t want to escalate the situation, but if necessary, I could have asked to review the security footage, which would show me placing the receipt on the jeans. Also, I felt rushed, and the problem was not addressed. I had everything ready, and it was not my fault that the receipt was misplaced, it happened because the associate wasn’t paying attention. Unfortunately, it ended up looking like it was my fault as the customer, which was unfair.
I really don't appreciate when associate did something wrong and turn around blame it's...
Read moreI had come into this TjMax to buy a necklace. I went to the dressing room counter twice asking them to call someone to the jewelry counter since no one was there. I waited over 10 minutes until I decided to go to the checkout counter. I was told that the lady at the dressing room counter never called anyone. The person they had help me at the jewelry counter was someone I worked with at a previous job. I remained professional with her while she decided to give me backlash and attitude which I told the lady that helped check me out when I was ready to pay. The lady was someone apologetic and super nice. She had a short bob haircut and was helpful. But something does need to be done about Azyah, the one that helped me at the jewelry counter. She tried to argue and fight me on the way out and my mom had to step in and same with the lady that helped check me out. And I would really like a formal apology or some compensation for what...
Read moreLove TJ Maxx and am a regular shopper at this location and always have a pleasant experience. However, Hannah was unnecessarily rude over the weekend. My cashier offered me the option to see if a piece of clothing I was purchasing could be discounted due to it being extremely dusty/dirty from dragging the floor because of its length. I responded with a “sure, why not” but when my cashier asked Hannah, Hannah very rudely scolded me in front of the entire checkout area that I could “just wash it”. It wasn’t even my idea to ask and I didn’t think it was necessary to be spoken to in that manner, but I also shouldn’t have to go home and wash new pieces of clothing before they can be worn, especially given the material and price...
