I called ahead to order egg soufflés along with muffins and bear claws. I was told there was only one soufflé left. I told the staff what I wanted and that I would pay for it now , get dressed and drive right over. I had missed one the day before not realizing their time cutoff of 10:30 am for their breakfast items which was my fault. I had a sick family member who really wanted one so when she said paying ahead wasn’t necessary. I said, I want to pay ahead to be sure it will be there when I arrive. She reassured me it would be there. Guess what? I saw that last egg soufflé being sold right in front of me as I walked in. I asked for the manager and told her what happened. She apologized. I told her I wanted to speak to the young woman I talked to on the phone. She brought her over to me. I asked her why she would not accept my offer of payment so that I could be assured of getting my order. She said well, I thought it would still be here without paying for it. This is not customer service. This is customer disservice. I offered twice to pay before I left. I was assured it would be there. The staff member seem to think it was funny because she kept trying to stifle her smile while we were talking. Karma will come around and bite her as it does to us all. Read moreI used to stop here a lot as it was great in the past but recently not so much. On our most recent visit we wanted to sit down so we went in and the table we sat down at was extremely dirty. I've never experienced this before at Panera and was pretty disappointed. I noticed another customer walk up to the counter without a mask on and lean over the counter just inches above prepared meals and ask an employee for something. After sitting for awhile we realized those same prepared meals looked like what we had ordered. We went to the counter and an employee told us that it was our meal. When we ordered on the kiosk a message popped up at the end asking for a name to be entered that would be called when the food was ready but instead our completed meal sat on the counter for about ten minutes while other customers are standing over it. I'm not a stickler for all of the Covid guidelines but I can definitely see someone else being very upset by this. I will say that the food was still pretty good but overall we have not been having the kind of experience we have come to expect from...
Read moreMy husband picked up lunch for us from this location. They did not put my sandwich in the bag. I called and was told that they could not offer me a refund. First, I did not ask for one, and second, you did not give me what I paid for so to me you are STEALING MY MONEY!! My husband went back to the store to get my sandwich and they gave me a free cookie. Panera Bread get it all the way together!! We spent $50.00 on lunch and bakery goods, you did not give me my sandwich and for this my husband had to be inconvenience to make a second trip and all you offered me was a cookie for which I already had purchased. So if my husband was not able to come back to get my food, I would have taken a loss because I was not entitled to a refund according to your policy. You people are crazy!! So you get to keep the money and the food!! and take no responsibility for the mistake that you make!! Needless to say...WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!...
