I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mikado Sushi, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! As a sushi enthusiast, I have high standards when it comes to both the quality of the food and the level of customer service, and Mikado Sushi exceeded all my expectations.

If I had to describe this place I would describe it as a fast food type setup sushi/hibachi place. Service semi lacking but not terrible(food was brought to the table and laid out quickly in front of us but we were never asked how it was or if we needed anything else. Place is lightly staffed so I didn't expect quick service nor follow ups at the table but would have atleast expected one asking if everyone's food came out ok or if anyone needed anything else). The shrimp hibachi, the rice was semi flavorful and the cabbage was a nice touch but not bad had to add the Mayo type sauce that was given with it to step flavor up. Shrimp was lower quality which I get being where their prices are but still not bad. I got spicy tuna roll and salmon avocado roll, which sushi was at a low price point but it was fresh and melted in your mouth and avocado was very fresh, spicy tuna also had just the right on amount of Sriracha to make it actually a true spicy tuna. Also tried their chicken dumplings which were fried and came with hoisin sauce for dip which were good. Spring rolls were also tested. Spring rolls were kinda doughy inside and not much filling and the flavor really wasnt really there. If service was a little more attentive then I would have given 5 stars. Out of respect for the minor involved I will not post the video my friend recorded while on FaceTime listening to this interaction as she was shocked. The owner had to physically holding back his minor staff member today as she and him verbally accosted me over a chair my toddler damaged in their restaurant today. I want to encourage you and your staff to treat people with kindness. I continuously apologized, as I took full ownership for what my child had done. Several patrons watched in complete dismay as I didn’t argue with them only asked the owner not disparage me as mother for my toddler being a toddler. I told them we would not return and I reminded him I visit that location frequently and this hasn’t happened ever before, while trying to offer to pay for the chair I could barely speak over the child working at the front who continued interjecting making negative remarks to me as a mother. In addition to this as a regular patron of the restaurant, they visibly tampered with my food out of frustration for what my toddler had done since it was a pickup I didn’t know until leaving the restaurant with my order. I pray that when you raised your children, no one ever treated you the way I was made to...
