If I could give -0 stars I would! This place has called me twice claiming we could “pick our stuff up” and both time we were unable to get our stuff. The first time was the Harry Potter game and we were told by Zack on a voice message that we could pick it up by 12 that night. Went to the store among other people and nobody was there. The second time Zack called was for the Diablo game and told us 7pm went into the store, actually I waited around after I got off work to get this freakin game and I was told by another employee that we couldn’t get the game that night. I was boiling at this point! To me it kinda seemed like a game dude had a Smirk on his face. Another guy was in there waiting for the same thing I was. And I also was told that I couldn’t get the game until 7pm the next day which it was released the next day! Which makes absolutely no sense! 🙄 I guess you guys think it’s funny to waste peoples times. And not to mention the guy Zack lied about being a manager the first time I requested to speak to the manager of the store. I was told that by the employee this time around that he’s just a regular employee and not a manger! I will NEVER come back to this dump of a store! The one over East is wayyyy better and the staff is friendly and helpful! And I also was able to get my game from them that day! So jokes on y’all! I wish I could say how I truly feel about this store but I think I’ll keep it...
Read moreI went in to this establishment GameStop to day. A young man by the name of Jalen, was misleading in his information that he gave me. Nonchalantly, the man told me to sign on the pad. When I signed on the pad at the register. He essentially finalized a transaction with me misleading me that I would be paid cash, instead he gave me a gift card! When I asked him for the cash that I was waiting to redeem. He giggled at me and proceeded to tell me that I should’ve read the contract? Which there was no contract, I was in disbelief! I asked to speak to a store manager and he proceeded to giggle, and tell me that he was the store manager. I was appalled at his Behavior and he should be ashamed of himself representing GameStop. There were people in the Store and as a man with class, and integrity I just left the store. I am not a confrontational person, what Jalen did was distasteful. I resent doing business with this store and how I was treated! I will be contacting (HR)...
Read more1 star simply for the service. Games, head headsets, etc...not my issue. My issue is being talked to like I’m an uneducated teenager spending mommy and daddies money. To have the nerve to blame me for the issue when trying to checkout with several games and a preorder, because your system is busted...after trying multiple cards and eventually moving to another register...it worked. Oh but the code for the dlc also doesn’t work...because I picked it up less than a month after it’s release?...almost every time I go in here the staff either doesn’t know what they’re talking about or treats me like I’m less than they are.
