I placed an order on the app for delivery from this location on February 26th 2019. The order was delivered a few minutes after the estimated timeframe of 44 -50 minutes. The delivery boy was a bit short with me but it was late in the evening and we were hungry so we just let it go. Then when I opened the pizza I noticed that the half pepperoni half cheese pizza was over cooked and actually not halved like ordered it was a full pepperoni. I then decided to call and complain and the manager on the phone said that she could have another made but it would take another hour to get delivered or she could credit me for my order. I said she could do whatever was easiest for them. So we ended up deciding together that a credit was best. She said that she would process a credit for the entire order for the inconvenience. As of today I still haven't received the credit and it doesn't look like I will get one. This isn't the first time we have had issues with this location. Our old location in Red Lion, PA was so much better then the West York, PA location. We may just drive the extra 30 kin to visit that location...
Read moreThe food was okay, not great. I haven't gotten Papa John's in a really long time. Based on the food alone, I don't believe today's offering would keep me coming back. It wasn't as good as it used to be.
My biggest issue, though, is not the food. The big guy in the grey shirt slapping/stretching the dough was wearing a mask, which he repeatedly touched and adjusted. Then, he went right back to making food and doing other things while I was waiting for my carryout order without washing his hands. What's the point of wearing a mask that isn't over your nose or that doesn't fit and constantly needs adjusted anyway? Defeats the purpose to begin with.
Sure, you could say, "But, the food goes through the oven. So, it wouldn't matter." Unfortunately, that doesn't account for everything else he's touching that doesn't get cooked or that other people would be touching after the same things he touched, including items that get used on or including pizza(s) after having been cooked.

The cinna pull aparts had no icing! We called this store to report it and ask for replacements, but the person claiming to be the manager claimed that they could not send out another, edible set of items that we ordered. We then ask them to take the items off the debit card and he refused to do that even after we offered to return the unacceptable items. Don't waste your time with this place. They refuse to satisfy an unhappy customer and then keep the money instead of returning it by removing the charge from the card we used to pay!...
