Poblano Tex-Mex Grill — Restaurant in West Manchester Township

This was my first visit, and it did not disappoint! I was not sure what to get with all the choices available. I asked what the owner would recommend, and we came up with the birria tacos. I asked for their special Poblano sauce, and it was an excellent choice to go with the tacos. We also tried both homemade empanadas with chicken and beef. Those both had great flavors and were cooked to perfection. My lunch companion had the chicken rice bowl. I was not able to get that picture before she was devouring it! It must have been good. Needed to pick up an Amazon delivery at the Weis in the same strip. Happened to pass by and remembered seeing an ad on IG and checked out the menu at the time. Stopped in and not disappointed. Got Street Corn and Birria. $7 is a little expensive for corn, but street corn is delicious. Forewarning, comes with a large portion of chips to dip, which makes the $7 reasonable. So 8oz of corn and large chips. The Birria was GOOD. Seems the tacos are grilled, as they come out a little crunchy. Nice added texture with the soft meat. Comes with a 4oz cup of the consumé and 2oz salsa. Might have been the cumin, but there was definitely notes of the cinnamon. Our first visit to this establishment. Staff greeted my husband and I and were friendly and personable. Assisted us through our order. Food was delicious. I had the shrimp burrito and my husband had the steak fajita. The cilantro lime brown rice is definitely the way to go. It was flavorful and well cooked. My burrito was FILLED with shrimp well cooked. The cilantro lime ranch sauce is delicious and would be great for a summer day on one of their salads.
