Twisted Rooster Bar — Restaurant in West Melbourne

I'm not sure what agenda the reviewer 'Qunicy' has, but the long-winded review from a new account with only 1 review tells me that they have a grudge against either the owner and/or the staff, and attempted to drag down the review of this establishment with their 1-star rating.

My husband and I were in town 11/29/24 - 12/01/24 and visited The Twisted Rooster on Friday for a drag show featuring Remini Mogul and T Lo Ivy. Melbourne lacks LGBTQ inclusive spaces, so we were excited to be in a welcoming space (which is rare for the Central & Northern Florida Atlantic coastline).

Despite it being a rainy evening, the crowd was enthusiastic and the hostesses were engaging, entertaining, stunning and very kind. We truly enjoyed how they engaged, despite a smaller crowd due to the weather & time of year. Support local queer art & remember to TIP YOUR QUEENS! You can get singles from the bar, just make sure you have CashApp or Venmo setup on your phone.

We received great table service on the floor in addition to cold, well-made drinks (bourbon & ginger ale; cosmopolitan; beer). The bartenders were busy but took time to chat with us when we asked for recommendations for fine dining in the area.

The owner was extremely welcoming to us, stopping by the bar to chat with us and provide his own dining recommendations. He offered us a drink on the house, but we opted not to out of manners and courtesy.

The bathroom has cheeky, eclectic decor. I am a bit of a germophobe, and was not concerned.

We will be visiting the area again for our 10-year wedding anniversary in late February 2025, and to explore more of Melbourne, as we are looking to move from Ocala. I hope The Twisted Rooster enjoys another 6-years...

I recently visited the Twisted Rooster Bar, hoping for a fun night out with friends. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by several significant issues that left me thoroughly disappointed.

First and foremost, the behavior of the owner was appalling. Not only was he rude and dismissive to customers, but he also seemed entirely disinterested in providing even basic customer service. His demeanor created a tense and unwelcoming atmosphere that made it difficult to enjoy our time at the bar.

Moreover, the prices of drinks were exorbitant, far exceeding what one would expect to pay even in a trendy establishment. The quality of the drinks did not justify their high cost, leaving a bitter taste in the mouth both figuratively and literally.

Adding insult to injury, the state of the bathrooms was simply unacceptable. They were dirty, unkempt, and gave off a foul odor that made using them an unpleasant experience. It was clear that proper hygiene and cleanliness were not a priority for the management.

To make matters worse, there were instances of inappropriate behavior from both staff and patrons, creating an uncomfortable environment for everyone present. This behavior went unchecked by the management, further highlighting their lack of concern for the well-being of their customers.

Overall, my visit to the Twisted Rooster Bar was a regrettable one. I would strongly advise against patronizing this establishment until significant improvements are made in both management attitude and the overall quality of service. There are plenty of other bars in the area that offer better experiences at more...

I was happy to come to visit Twisted Roosters for the first time.

I had great service with Jennifer she was on top of her game with getting us our drinks on.

Also Dylan was also working hard to make sure our drinks are full.

Robbie was great he was on top of making sure the ladies of the night had a spot light to brighten the night.

Linda at the back bar, She was always making sure we were ok and she was great with her welcoming smile.

Let’s give a shot out to Steven James & Madison for making the drinks for the girls on the floor.

Chase was great he had some Beautiful eyes, he works for security so come by and check them out.
