DON'T BOTHER!! Save your money and time! WOW, just WOW! Where do I begin? First of all, nobody was at the front of the house to greet then seat customers; and it was NOT busy, only one or two tables with customers. Secondly, we got seated and our server came and got our beverage order. I got a sweet tea which was weak, not sweet, and not real fresh. My son ordered a Dr Pepper which was flat and flavorless. Thirdly, we ordered our meal which was a 2 for $27.00 special with 2 Caesar salads, BBQ riblets with smashed potatoes and broccoli and a 6oz sirloin, cooked rare, with smashed potatoes and broccoli. The salads came out and were okay; the lettuce could've been fresher. Fourthly, meanwhile we're waiting on our food, other folks arrived and got seated AND received their drinks, appetizers, salads and entrées. Fifthly, after 10-15 minutes or so, our server came to our table and "apologized" for the wait, and used the excuse that they were busy and our food would be out shortly. Sixthly, our server came by again and informed us that my son's steak was just put on the grill and again, our food would be out shortly. Seventhly, after another 10-15 minutes or so wait, our entrées arrived. My potatoes were lukewarm and riblets were, meh...fair, broccoli was perfect. My son's steak had a really large chunk of gristle and was about a 4.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 in flavor, and his potatoes and broccoli were fine both in temperature and flavor. And finally, our server brought the bill. She came back to the table in 3 minutes or less to pickup payment for our meal. I was doing something on my phone, and I told her I needed a few minutes and to come back. I took my time!! Hell, after waiting 30 minutes for our food when they weren't even busy, they could wait on their damn payment!! So, I get out my card and handed it to her. She takes it and comes back with both merchant and customer receipt copies and stood there and waited for me to sign the merchant receipt. HOW RUDE!! She could have tended to other customers while I took care of the bill. Needless to say, we WILL NOT BE RETURNING to this particular location again. Read moreFirst I want to say, this place used to be HORRIBLE from 2021-2023 I tried about 1-2 times every few months to come in and eat, tried different days && time of the days just to see if it was just a bad day but it obviously wasn’t there was several times I sat without menus or drinks for at least 30+ minutes and at LEAST two times I didn’t even get greeted or get anything at all after sitting down for so long that I just got up and left, even though workers are all standing talking and sitting down or just not worried about the tables at all! Granted the few times I did get service I had to wait an extreme amount of time for the food that was somewhat decent, my order is simple and not very hard to mess up!
NOW with all that being said want to say this, I went to eat the two weekends ago with my husband I was so nervous because of all our past experiences but BOY let me tell you I was not disappointed and left very much satisfied! Immediately at walk in I was greeted and sat, our waitress came out shortly after that got our drinks and order in a timely manner, shortly after we placed our order our appetizer came out and not even 10 minutes later our food came out, AND LET ME say this is the first time in 2 YEARS I’ve had anything from applebees that actually had life in it, In the serving industry we all know food reaches it’s dead point after being under that heat and taste way different than freshly cooked food! She also kept our drinks full the whole time! Read moreRestaurant was nearly empty. We should’ve left when it took so long for someone to take our drink order. After a long wait after 3 ordering apps, waiter comes back to say they’re out of one of them. Okay. After waiting some time longer, he comes back to say they’re out of the second one. Alright, we ordered entrees. After waiting again, “third” but only app comes with stale chips and watery queso. After waiting even more, 2/3 entrees come. We see the waiter walking around, doesn’t saying anything about the 3rd entree. After seeing him some more and the first two getting cold, we flag him down the ask about the 3rd entree. He says “it’s coming”. He comes right back with a cold burger that was missing toppings that were ordered. At this point, we were very frustrated with so much waiting so we didn’t say anything. The garlic bread for the Alfredo was hard and inedible. The grilled chicken breast was good though as was the bacon. We ask for the ticket, once brought he says he waived the 18% gratuity for our party (door says required for 5+ party. We had 3 adults, a five year old and an infant). We would’ve disputed that anyway due to service and technically only having 4 eating mouths but alright, thanks.
