It is high time someone demonstrated their culinary expertise with authentic cuisine. Many individuals claim to be proficient in cooking, but their creations often fall short of expectations. If you seek the flavors of traditional home cooking, I recommend visiting this establishment. Their prices are reasonable, and they offer a variety of options to ensure your satisfaction. Please note that they do not accept Apple Pay or Google Pay at this time. Additionally, the temperature in the establishment is maintained at 100°F due to COVID-19 precautions and enhanced sanitation measures. Despite these factors, I assure you that the quality of their food is exceptional and worth experiencing. I encourage you to visit them and savor there culinary delights firsthand.

I googled soul food and Ron's came up, so I figured I'd give them a try. Talk about finger licking good. I had the smothered pork chops(gravy is on point), spaghetti, and the red beans and rice! Everything was very very tasteful and filling. I will be making another trip across the bridge soon! It's definitely worth it and the price is reasonable for the amount of food. They get 2 thumbs up!šŸ˜‹

Best plate soul food lunches in town, right outside of Memphis. Big portions, never leave hungry. Menu varies daily, but always plenty of choices. The smothered pork chops are life. Definitely get the cornbread!

Rich. Plentiful. Delectable. I rolled into town on a random Wednesday afternoon in search of a warm meal. Situated modestly on a backroad of a commercial district, Ron and his homestyle cooking offered me just that — and more. I stepped up to the cafeteria-style serving station and ordered a plate of smothered pork chops, greens and mashed potatoes topped with pork chop gravy. My friend ordered the chicken and dumplings, greens and corn. We both got cornbread. Including a sweet tea and Dr. Pepper, our ticket was barely over $30. I’ve never had such a humbly priced, downright delicious meal in my life. And I eat cheap.

When I went to sit down, every table was spotless and offered hot sauce along with spicy vinegar in addition to the ordinary provisions. My friend’s chicken fell of the bone. My pork was perfectly tender. Not sure if the potatoes were instant mix, but they certainly tasted otherwise. Everything else — the gravy, the corn, the bread and the greens — was perfectly juicy and seasoned. The dining room itself was silent, not because it was empty, but because everyone there was busy eating. As it should be.

Our chef, Ron, seemingly knew many of the other patrons who filed in and out, and if that’s not a testament, I don’t know what is. He greeted everyone with a warm smile and wasn’t quick to take the praise he so clearly deserves. By the end, each of our nearly 2-pound plates were basically empty and our hearts were full. Ron offered to clear our tables and upon paying at the counter, there was no option to leave a tip. That might be my only complaint. But a tip isn’t enough to express my gratitude for this lovely gem; so here I am. I will be...

The food is WONDERFUL! The service today(I’ve been once before) was lazy. Maybe negligent is a better word. Lazy works too though. No effort to provide me with at the very least, good service. I thought I was tripping but there was a mutter from another customer about the cook being rude. He was more short in my opinion. I had to eat my ā€œfor hereā€ food in a ā€œto goā€ box because no one asked was it for here or to go. I asked for condiments from the waitress and was told I would have to wait on the cook to give it to me lol. Once she realized I was dining in she was a little bit more helpful. Not much though. She checked on me 2 quick times. The time I need her she looked out but was gone before I could wave her over. Again, the food is GREAT! The service wasn’t bad enough for me to not come again. I just know how to handle them next time. Come in, CLEARLY let someone know whether it is dine in or carry out, have a seat, ask for everything that I feel I’ll need to enjoy my meal, and...
