National Pizza Pub and Grille — Restaurant in West Milwaukee

Tiny pub hidden inside the bottom floor of a Best Western hotel. The ambience was nice, food was good, and the staff was really friendly.

They have slot machines if you like to gamble, a claw machine if you like fishing for goods, and multiple giant flat screen TV's for watching sports, shows, and music promos.

I didn't have anything to drink there besides water, so I can't attest to alcohol quality but I assume it's at least decent.

Went here because my girlfriend had a Groupon for $15, and we ended up getting 2 small build-your-own pizzas. They have all sorts of bar food and appetizers, we just got the pizzas because that's what we heard they were known for.

The taste of the pizza was really good and it had a LOT of cheese. The crust was also nicely done. This pizza also reheats very well in an air fryer, which is exactly what I did because I could only eat half of mine before I got a cheese overload.

The pricing of the toppings changed with the size of the pizza you wanted to get, so I thought it was fairly priced, and with the Groupon, our final bill came to around $2 lol.

I had a really bad headache the next day due to the cheese, but that's my own biology so I obviously won't remove stars for that. Because of this, be weary about the pizza if you are sensitive to...

Danielle the bartender is extremely rude. We waited over 20 minutes till she came to take our order. Kept going up to the bar and asking her where to order. When I finally got up the 2nd or 3rd time she told me "go back to your seat". She said she didn't see us when she was serving the table right next to us. I told her I wanted my pizza well done, it wasn't, my friend didn't ask for it to be well done, and it was. I really liked this place before. The first couple times we came the pizza maker, Bill, personally came to me n my friend to introduce himself and we told him how much we loved his pizza, now I rather not go because of this one bad experience. Danielle gave us a 15$ off coupon for next visit, but I don't want to go back here. I really wished danielle hadn't treated us the way she did. It was a really bad night.

I ordered a pizza and breadsticks on their website. I received a confirmation email saying the pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. I got there about 25 minutes later. I'm told by the bartender that it would be about 10 more minutes. I waited almost 20 more minutes, and then I'm told "2 more minutes." About 5 minutes later I get my pizza and "breadsticks"(disgusting dough scraps with garlic butter dumped on them). Never once did I get an apology or explanation. There were only 7 people in the restaurant and nobody else waiting for food. So then I'm told I can't pay the bartender, I have to go upstairs to the hotel and pay. So I go to the hotel and the lady at the front desk is completely confused as to why I was told to pay her. Then she asks if it was an UberEats order and I said "no, I ordered off your website." Then she stares at a screen for about 3 minutes because she doesn't know what to do. I just gave her cash and told her to keep the change. It was worth it to finally get out of a place I will never return to. Seriously, was I the first person to ever order a pizza online...
