McDonald's — Restaurant in West Monroe

First off I doubt very seriously that nothing will change by me posting about my experience at this McDonald's. But the first thing I seen that needs attention is how the employees does not ever greet the customers in a very friendly manner if they are even greeted at all. They just look at you and when you say nothing after a long pause will finally say "Are you gonna order?" This floors me! Then I say "p, welcome to McDonald's, may I take your order please?" They look at me like I'm stupid or something. Then I tell them "That's how you greet a customer to take their order." Why is it the employees are not greeting customers? Why is it a place where I'm spending my hard earned money not given the respect I deserve as a customer. I know the money this company will not get from will not effect it in any way, but I will be damned if I spend another cent with this company ever again because of this. And I will probably never know if this is improved because I won't be visiting there anymore. Just wanted to voice my opinion. I'm so disgusted. I sat here drinking the tea that was in my shopping bag. I wasn't even about to order anything from this location. The dining room, drink station, tables, windowsills,and floors were nasty. The the drink station was wet nasty and messy. The floors hadn't been swept up and damn sure hadn't been mopped but explain why the mop bucket was sitting out in the middle of the dining room floor? then I decided i would go ahead and use the restroom after walking from the the Bus terminal in Monroe it was unavoidable but, My God! With 8 employees working in this store Someone should have had been able to check in on it! The Bathroom had POOP all over the seat, there was a little piece of poo on the floor, there was pop inside the roll of toilet paper, pee on the seat and floor, the sink foset also had poop, the mirror had nastness running down the mirror from people shaking their hands. That's because they don't offer paper towels and that blow dryer doesn't work! and there was still soap with poop left in that sink, when we sat down we caught one more surprise. A vodka bottle beside the seat we were in....

I went to this McDonald’s late last night and was shocked to realize there was only one person working the entire store. They were taking orders, making the food, running the drive-thru—everything. And despite the impossible workload, they were still calm, respectful, and kind.

Yes, it took a little longer than usual, but honestly, I was just amazed at how they handled it all with such grace. It’s not easy to do the work of an entire team, especially when customers are likely tired or impatient. But this person pushed through and gave it their all, and I want to sincerely thank them for showing up and doing their best.

Whoever you are, I hope your manager and company recognize what you did. You deserve a break, a raise, and a whole lot of appreciation. Thank you.

P.S. to all the people after me and future customers, stay humble and kind and never judge a book by its cover because it might be the best book...
