Coney Island-West Monroe — Restaurant in West Monroe

This was my first and last time at this establishment. I watched the ladies cooking with NO GLOVES on. They walked around and touched everything and wiped their hands on a dirty towel and then proceeded to make food. Not I mention I open what was supposed to be my chicken sandwich and this is what it looks like. $12 for a chicken strip and this hot mess of what is supposed to be a sandwich. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Sad part is I was really looking forward to finally eating here because I had heard good things about it. Thank you for charging me $12 for food that had to get thrown in the garbage. Just a follow up, I called them and the manager said they don’t wear gloves, they use bleach water and bleach towels. So not only are they not washing their hands or wearing gloves but they sticking them in bleach and then putting it all over your food. 🤮🤮 Definitely made me lose...

Very unimpressed with the quality of hot dogs and chili, especially for the money. Cheese is just unmelted shredded cheddar cheese thrown on top at the last second. Hot dogs are tiny and resemble Vienna sausages in both color and flavor, and are also a good inch or two shorter than the bun. The pictures above accurately represent the chili which is low quality to say the least, though it tastes ok. Paid nearly $14 for 3 chili dogs, some fries and a drink that could be easily be rivaled by a gas station chili dog. Service was ok. Overall a very "take it or leave it" type of eating...

Busy fun atmosphere, friendly, smiling staff, not a long wait for food, food was worth the wait...got the special which was 2 chili cheese burgers or 2 chili cheese dogs or 1 of each, fries and drink for 11.99...my man and I shared it, was able to be satisfied without being stuffed. Owner was there working which spoke volumes for me , however I told him there was only one thing wrong. He was genuinely concerned, smiling I told him, "he needed to open one in Ruston." La.
