Alley Park — Attraction in West Monroe

Wonderful, free concerts the last Friday of the month with an eclectic mix of bands and an area for dancing. Restaurants in walking distance, as well as one of our local brew pubs. The only disappointment was that there was only one food truck that also had soft drinks and a stand with exotic fruit drinks. Beer and mixed drinks were available for purchase at a bar around the corner and open container laws are waived in downtown on the concert Fridays. Also, it would be nice if the bakeries could be talked into later hours on the concert dates to satisfy those of us with a sweet tooth!

My only complaint is that there is no close, dedicated handicap parking for those of us who have trouble getting around. All in all, we had a great time with 2 generations of...
