Caster and Chicory — Restaurant in West Monroe

A family member of mine had been boasting about this bakery for the past month and assured me this needed to be my first stop the next time I was in town. As luck would have it I was there this past week and starting following the Facebook page. The social media engagement and content is 10/10. I ended up making 3 trips to the bakery while in town and it didn’t disappoint. The location was clean; smelled amazing; great seating and even better customer service. This morning in overhead an employee tell a customer that she’s been working 16 hour days!! This type of dedication made me order more than I had anticipated. The almond croissants are EVERYTHING! This place is a gem 💎 Starting with the staff, they super kind and gentle, the cleaning, it's amazing how clean and well decorated it is. they plenty of parking spaces, and tables for enjoying. The beignets are delightful 😊, their croissants super nice, the coffee delicious. We got different desserts to try during our trip and make it more fun. All prices are very affordable👍 i think this is the down town, so everywhere is super beautiful, they public restrooms 🚻 in case you want to walk around, we didn't do it, we just taking a half hour break 😀 😉 Remainder; the little trailer sells beignets and coffee, the coffee salon sells the croissants and more! Amazing service and even better food! We tried the cinnamon rolls, almond croissants, and blueberry scones (these were all taken home to enjoy at a later time). Then we stepped over to the truck to get some beignets and coffee!! All of the food was absolutely delicious. There is a cute little outdoor seating area for small groups and the aroma that fills the air is intoxicating. The lovely ladies that were working inside were so patient as we scoured the menu to decide what we wanted to purchase and filled our order quickly.
