The folks who run this place were kind enough to travel 1500+ miles from around Acapulco, and they chose a location near the interstate. So don't tell me it's too far.

My wife had three tacos in freshly fried shells, with rice and beans, for like $13. Freshly fried tacos! So don't tell me it's too expensive.

Made an order online as we were staying at a nearby hotel. Waited 30-45min longer than the expected time it would be ready to pickup with only two other parties sitting inside. Got back to our room and noticed we were missing items. I called and mentioned this to them and she replied that I could come back and get it. I asked if they could deliver it or give me a refund to which she said neither of those were an option. Hands down, without a shadow of a doubt, my favorite Mexican food in NELA. You can’t go wrong with the elotes en vaso and guacamole for appetizers. The “street tacos” (called tacos junior) are flavorful and fresh. They offer several sauces with varying levels of heat, all of which are super tasty.
