Empire Family Diner — Restaurant in West Norriton Township

Great food. Incredible portion sizes. Looks like a new breakfast Hotspot which is great bc there are no quality diners in the area. Used to go to Keystone up the street but their quality and service has come up short. So excited for this new restaurant. 1/5/23 New Review : can't seem to be able to make another review post... came back again for breakfast. Love love love the food. Always great, owner came out and said Hi to everyone. My server was great, Melissa..I know her from Keystone. My only complaint, while my coffee cup was never empty due to plenty of refills, the one waitress that came around once to offer fills, looked unkempt, seemed to be a Lil unsteady with her tray, and walked around with her tongue sticking out. Other than that everything was great! Totally coming back, just hopefully to any server but her.

1/13/2025 I have been to this diner, many times within the past 2 years. Always for breakfast or lunch. I don't know about anyone else experience with the servers there, but Melissa has always been a favorite. She always is so happy and pleasant. People have good days and bad, you never know what People are going thru, so who ever you are that said she rude or unpleasant must have caught her while going thru something. No need to be a bully and put her down. 10/10 for both...

Apparently they have virtually no wait staff. Fairly busy Friday night and apparently one actual server. They had a young man waiting on tables who I assume was really a busser. He obviously had never waited on tables before. My wife and I ordered a pretty simple meal. Omelettes with the usual side of home fries and toast. For some reason while we were waiting for the meal he came back and asked me how I wanted my home fries. He didn’t ask my wife that, just me. I looked at him quizzically and said somewhat sarcastically, fried. When the meal came after a long wait, my home fries were deep fried. My wife’s were not. They were normal home fries. I reminded him of the toast which actually never came. While waiting for the check, I mentioned to him that he never brought the toast. He came back a few minutes later with 2 ice cold pieces of toast, but no butter. On the way out after waiting to pay for this mess, the real waitress apologized. I told her we...

UPDATE - they are now not answering the phone for us so we are disputing with our credit card company. $40 for hair and the wrong order is just not ok with me. AVOID this restaurant!! If you guys decide to do the right thing you have our contact information

Ordered pickup and got the wrong items. Paid extra for turkey bacon and they gave me sausage. Was fine we order all the time and let it go. Just got a pickup order and drive 20 mins home and was missing an item and food had HAIR in it. They REFUSED a refund unless we drove 20 mins back over there to show them. When we now have to figure out other dinner because I am sickly hungry from taking my medication because I thought I was going to be eating. Absolutely unacceptable. They just lost loyal customers who order all the time. AVOID unless you’d like hair in your food and to pay up charges for items you won’t even get. So here’s your photo of the hair! Way to...
