Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in West Norriton Township

As a certified Popeyes aficionado, this has to be one of the top three Popeyes I have ever been, and that says a lot!

Food: I am a simple man. I 99.95% of the time order a 5 piece spicy tenders, cajun fries, mash potatoes, and 2 biscuits using a promo code off the app for in-store pickup. The tenders are always scrumptious with the needed kick. The cajun fries have that ever loving Popeyes feel. The mash potatoes here I think are great, but I feel like they skimp out on the gravy a little. The biscuits at this Popeyes aren't for me. Maybe Popeyes changed this recipe or this location just does something different, but they seem a tad off. Since I am not the biggest fan, the Popeyes team are nice enough to exchange them for more tenders or fries, but I am sure it isn't always going to happen. Regardless, the food is great.

Service: The Popeyes back in Georgia and other states, I've had to wait 30-60 minutes for an order. Here, I have no wait... Maybe I am just going at the right time, but then that seems like a lot of times! Usually the wait is very minor (10 minutes max). The staff at this Popeyes is very professional and kind. They are willing to provide suggestions, not get passive aggressive, and they provide great customer service. I've never had better service at a Popeyes then at this Popeyes, and I go to a lot...

Restaurant: The restaurant is generally clean and has a modern feel to it. Interior feels a tad small, but it doesn't matter to me since I am doing to-go orders or pickup.

Regardless, this is my go-to Popeyes in KOP. They never fail with their service or food to bring me joy with...

I arrived to Popeyes at 11:57 am on Friday, August 13, 2021. I ordered the Spicy Chicken (it was a combo, total price $24.57). After waiting 20 minutes, I asked about my order and was told Popeyes was out of Spicy Chicken and I would have to wait longer for the chicken. After 20 minutes of waiting and the chicken is still not ready, I cancelled the order. I then made a complaint on the survey "Tell Popeyes". To my surprise the manger Otter (sp, a Indian Gentlemen) called me back immediately. I told him why I complained. Immediately, he said,, "Stop By and I will take care of you", I told him that was ok as I received a coupon from Popeyes when I made the complaint. He insisted I stop by. He said, Stop in anytime. I was in the area on my way home from work. Stopped by and OF COURSE HE WAS NOT THERE (THIS WAS AN HOUR AFTER HE SAID STOP IN ANYTIME TODAY)... NOT ONLY THAT, WHEN I STOPPED IN, THE STAFF WAS LAUGHING AT ME, LIKE HE JUST TOLD ME THAT TO SHUT ME UP. I GUESS HE THINKS I WANT FREE CHICKEN WHICH IS NOT THE CASE. Today I went for dinner to Popeyes in 2530 West Main St ,Norristown PA, this use to be my Favorite Popeyes Restaurant to go, before it was always clean and the employees were so nice and attentive, NOT ANYMORE! this afternoon I bought some food sat there to eat, when I was almost done I asked for a courtesy cup for some ice , I was told that I had to buy it, mine you I bought dinner and ate there, when I asked why I was told that ice was free but I had to pay 1.49 for the cup, I then told the man at the register I just bougjt dinner and I just want ice in a cup, THATS WHEN A YOUNG LADY " FROM THE BACK AREA came out and told me WE DONT HAVE COURTESY CUPS YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR A CUP! she didn't even ask do you need help? NO! I DID TELL HER I'm not talking to you!
