Tony G's Pub and Eatery — Restaurant in West Norriton Township

Went on Friday night. Sat at the bar. Place was moderately busy but well staffed. Ordered a beer, cheesesteak and tots. After waiting 45 minutes asked the bartender to check on my food. Took another 15 minutes for sandwich to come and they brought me Pulled Pork, not the cheesesteak I ordered. Tots did not come with sandwich. Asked about them and they came 5 minutes later. I ate the pork (which I never normally would order) as by now I was too hungry to wait another 20 minutes for a cheesesteak. Came in for a quick beer and a cheesesteak. Took me 1.5 hours from when I walked in until I left which was as soon as I finished my food. Saw bartender entered my order incorrectly when check came. But there is still no excuse to have to wait 1 hour for a sandwich that takes 5 minutes to make and they were not that busy. Absolute worst experience ever and I came home with a stomach ache. I would give it negative stars if I could. Staff was pleasant though and they did give me a free beer as they saw how annoyed I was having to wait 1 hour for a sandwich. Bartender did attempt to make some lame exuse for why food took so long. I should have paid for my beer and left rather than wait that long for food. Complete fail...

This restaurant is absolutely terrible and should be shut down immediately. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak, and halfway through eating, I discovered soft, flexible plastic threads. They were so subtle that I didn’t even notice them while eating until it was too late. I had to force myself to vomit, hoping I would get it all out.

When I called the restaurant to report the issue, their response was appalling. The person I spoke with admitted that she was aware of the problem, as it had happened in the past. She casually said she would check with the chef, put me on hold for two minutes, and then offered a refund without even an ounce of genuine apology or concern.

This experience raises serious doubts about the restaurant's food quality, hygiene, and overall standards. The fact that they knew about this issue and hadn’t taken action to prevent it from happening is completely unacceptable. Last night was my very first time eating at Tony G's in Norristown (There's also 1 at the phillies ballpark) my father knew the owner for a very long time since then has been longing to try it of course tried last Friday but unable to find parking so came last night

The staff awesome friendly staff it impressed me very much

The food was beyond good in fact it was out of this world. I had the steakhouse 🍔 with 🧀sauce with philly style 🍟 I wished I had a signature mojeto or 🍹Margreita but I chose sweet iced tea

I also know some of the staff members from the 2019 food festival at the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox church hall hosted by the DeNolfi family West Norriton 🚔department foundation fund

It was fun to go to that event that I had high hopes they would do that again but due to the pandemic it wiped it out

I'm definitely coming back to Tony G's either way hopefully the upstairs will be back operational soon because I want to see the upstairs and see the views
