Johnny's Pizzeria — Restaurant in West Orange

#1 Went 3 weeks ago, bought chicken parm dinner, that chicken taste was nowhere and it was heavily breaded…

#2 Went there 2 weeks ago, bought small pizza, not enough cheese..very dry.. Went again and biught a chicken parm…the chicken was breaded and seemed to be bought frozen…it only tasted like cheese and sauce..no chicken flavor whatsoever.

#3 Went again to try something different, ordered an eggplant parm with ziti..light sauce…ziti came as ordered with light sauce…eggplant parm was too saucy.. but the worst part is the eggplant was a mush..can’t even recognize the eggplant..it seems to be kept frozen and then became watery when cooked..(like mash potatoes consistency)…I ate the ziti…

These places need to stop buying frozen products…they are horrible.

First off I only stopped here for a quick bite and seeing the misleading ratings for this place I would honestly say that this was the worst pizza I have ever had. I am usually not very critical when it comes to pizza but this was very disappointing as it was very obvious that the crust was overstretched and very thin to a point where it's not even worth your time and moneyb. The real reason for the 2 stars however is the rudeness of the worker telling me that slices are to go only and did not let me sit down for a few minutes and forced me out after telling me that he was going to charge me extra for paying by cc when I was only a few cents off. If I were you I would skip this place and hopefully if you are reading this review I can save you from subpar pizza and bad...

For everyone that put this place under 5 stars or 1 star let me tell you about my experience and how the pizzeria got it's new owner. Johnny's pizzeria has been around west orange for a long time until frank decided to sell the place to someone. One customer was interested about buying the place and it ended up being sold! Then the new owner was Wilfredo Palta. Wilfredo Palta was a kind person who loved owning a business. He was dedicated to his new business and wanted everyone to see how nice he makes pizza. He ended up getting some employees to help out. He ended up becoming one of top ten's best pizzerias in west orange. He was really proud of his accomplishment.
